I didn't know the poem used as inspiration, but the game is as strong as the poem telling the story - especially for such a short game! The pacing and text made me really care and think about my choices and the art did an amazing job enhancing the creepy ambience. I love it.

I loved it! Really great game. Although it's short and simple, the artwork and narrative are a real piece of art.

I loved the mood, ambience and storytelling part of the game. I played through it a few times to cover all options. Also love the artstyle, reminiscent of the original macintosh era. The story was quite touching as well, the mother and father's roles, the relationship to the animal, etc. Loved it, great job!
