The game looks incredible
Sad there is no checkpoint

The game is too hard at the beginning of each level (because of how many enemies spawn onto you), but ends up being really easy after that (after you deal with the start + for the boss), probably needs some balancing

Found 2 bugs, one with the display of items, and one with the health bar

Neato. I would’ve preferred some tooltips for the orb buying as well as something like stacking orbs like an auto-chess shop to increases effects.

Having to restart from the beginning when your health bar is hard-to-see is also kind of rough.

Genuinely amazing. First off, I have no idea how you did that with the itchio page, I didn't even know you could make animated backgrounds like that. Secondly, the art style and overall presentation is probably the best I've seen out of any of these games (and I've seen some impressive stuff in this jam). It's also pretty fun, even though I usually don't play these types of games. You've got some serious talent, if you made this in less than 14 days, I'd love to see what you could make in a year's time. 10/10, great work!

Impressive art and engaging mechanics with room for technical improvements. The concept and humor shine through, making it a standout jam game. A smoother gameplay experience and adjustable controls would enhance it further. Great potential here!

This looks soo impressive. Unfortunately once I got to the gameplay section the game ground to a halt and I seemingly lost all control of the character. I tried restarting but it did not improve (and it would be nice to be able to skip the intro scenes faster). Maybe a desktop build could be a option?

The art direction in this game is fantastic, the pixel art is just so on point, the opening was fire! Seeing all that delicious animation. The music was also really good and kept me excited for what was to come.

The mechanics were really interesting with the ability to swap out orbs and put in new ones with different powers really added to the variety.

Overall a great game!

Very fun game! I love your work!!! ñalsdkfj

Your title and cover are also pretty good choices. x3 It was fun to play, it looks   a m a z i n g   and has a great sense of humor! My only complains would be that it feels a little weird being unable to move in diagonal, and I found it a little frustrating having to start over when youn die. Anyway, that's just personal preference.

Keep developing. I should take a look to other stuff you've done. :p

The presentation is impeccable, truly impressive! However, while the gameplay had its merits, I couldn't fully understand what was going on, and it was a bit clunky:
- The inability to move diagonally seems like a weird choice.
- The bean attack (mouse click) didn't damaged enemies. I don't know why.
- The radius of damage (white square) on enemies was so small that it harmed my character as well.
- The combination of using both keyboard 'X' and mouse for interaction felt a bit disjointed.
- Way too much dialogue. And the fact that's all unskipable made me quit after the first few attempts.

Still, pPresentation-wise, this is amazing.

I loved the graphics! I would've liked to see the effects of the upgrades before buying them. Great work!

With a little polish this game is ready for market. The graphics are beautiful and varied. So much polish on the sound, ui and splash screen too. An amazing job.

The presentation is outstanding and the dialogue is cute, but I find the game too difficult while attacking enemies isn't that fun, also hitboxes seem unfair. I think with some changes it can be really good! good job on doing all this within the time limit :)

Amazing game! From graphics to vibes, animations, everything. My only complaint would be the difficulty of the game, but that might be subjective. I would've really loved to play the boss fights and the more advanced levels, but unfortunately, I couldn't get past the 4th map. Maybe have an option to retry from the last level you accomplished, but I don't know if that's against the idea of the game.

I can't believe how much you were able to do in 12 days! That's amazing! Other than the intro and the story just taking a little longer than it should, it was very delightful.

Probably the best graphics I've seen this jam yet, really nice job on those! The audio was also really well made and suited the gameplay really nicely. I wasn't the biggest fan of the gaemplay itself, but objectively I think the gameplay loop is really good. I'm just curious why is the player limited to a grid while the attacks aren't? Feels pretty counter-intuitive in a way. Still, you really blew out of the water with this game, good job!

Stellar presentation! One smaller thing, it feels a bit hard  to parse if enemy projectiles will hit you or not because of the angle and lack of call it spatial awarness. But Great Work!

bit of a lengthy exposition dump at the beginning with no way to skip.
