Track description | Creative process
After attempting different genres such as bossa nova and slow jazz I came upon this idea after listening to the Animal Crossing New Horizons soundtrack on loop for many hours and improvising on piano.
From the beginning I knew I wanted a minimalist track with very simple percussion, barely any bass and divided into two parts, like many other similar pieces from the game that have a rhythmic and fun first part and a slower and meditative second part.
As for the sounds I used the synths and jazz guitars from Flstudio 20, this took longer than usual since I wanted to use the least instruments as possible. The less the better.
Finally I added some extra sound effects of beach waves and seagulls to really transport you to a sunny island in Animal Crossing.

Cute and simple, a good approach that reminds a lot the original soundtrack. A bit too low on volume, but I appreciated the SFXs and mostly the percussions, overall a solid choice of sounds! Well done

Please consider bringing up the volume on the piano and bass a bit, and maybe lower the high hats a little. You have a nice piano melody, but it's hard to hear.
