How does your game represent Mode?
The player has a mode deck they can shuffle through, with one mode card activating every minute. Pick the best mode for the situation, and try to get strong enough to overcome Death mode.

At first I was like, "This game is ezpz!" and then a few minutes later I was running in fear haha
Great presentation and the first person camera/fog of war makes it quite tense

All the great hallmarks of a survivors game. Really quick to pick up and play with a steady increase in difficulty as the run goes on to ramp up the tension. The tarot card mechanic is a really interesting addition to the formula, I plan to play more and figure out what each of the cards do.
Vampire Survivors never really hooked me, but I think your first-person take on it was what I was missing because this is so much fun. The power-ups all felt really meaningful, the modes were a fun way to control the progression, and the difficulty felt challenging but fair. I also love the art. Between the enemy sprites and the music, this felt super polished. Great job!
Love all of the power ups you can choose from.
Really cool! I played for a while and it was fun. Sadly, it crashed. The cards are fun to pick, but it can be developed way further if you want.
Great job!

Great job!
I've seen quite a few survivor-likes in game jams recently and I can easily say this is the most interesting + well executed take on it I've seen :D
Really awesome work for this game, obviously Grog's spritework is awesome, but the technical aspects and the music from Toph are super impressive as well. The game loop is great, and with some QoL and better conveyance I'm sure that I would be sinking a little bit too much time into this one! Kinda felt inklings of my time in Risk of Rain 2 where I could feel myself wanting to revisit and respec and restrategize whenever I died, so I'm very much looking forward to a full release.
Solid game, not much to add. If you do develop it further i think the cards could have more of an impact. Currently i did not feel like it mattered all that much which card i picked (except death of course ;)
This is a lot of fun. Nothing else I can add here matters because it's just a lot of fun.
Loved the sprites and music in the game. I could see it having some potential.
Loved the artwork, especially the enemy sprites and the UI. The music was also fantastic. But overall the game is just a ton of fun, pretty addicting honestly. Great take on a survivor-shooter, awesome job implementing an upgrade system and the inclusion of the minimap was great too. Really impressive work and a super fun game - you should be really proud!
The rare and threatening 3d gamemaker game! Mom get the camera!
Great game, really lovable artstyle! Cool take on the genre
A+ Artwork
A+ Soundtrack
A+ Gameplay
Great Job! I beat Death on the 3rd play through!
I love the artwork for this game. It was an interesting idea to try a first person survivor game. I did find myself watching the minimap a lot of the time but it was definitely a cool experience to play this kind of game in first person. I have yet how to defeat death or figure out if it's even possible. I seem to get instakilled whenever it spawns. I'm not sure if this is a known bug or possibly just a feature but I did notice that any of your spells which have begun to fire continue firing if the game pauses from levelling up. It didn't seem to have a major impact on the gameplay but I just thought I'd mention it.
I haven't seen a first person survivor game yet so props on that idea. I think this could have gone wrong but the map kinda makes it work.
I also really like that there is some actual aiming involved in the beginning of the run. Generally the beginning was the most fun because you actually have to look out for enemies trying to swarm you. Later on when you have all the upgrades it becomes a little repetitive but I guess that is just an inherent problem I have with this type of game.
I found most of the cards to be not that impactful except for the death card.
Generally this was quite fun honestly. I got all the upgrades in my second run when I knew what the colored upgrades meant and got to level 110 at the end.
Fantastic game. Keep it up.
Oh man oh man I certainly ended up playing this game longer than I expected, it's actually addictive!! I love the 2.5D style, the sprites are so good! That lego man somewhat scares me lol
The beginning of the game felt a little too slow since it takes 1 whole minute to get the tarot mode to work, but once it gets going it DOES get going.
Really appreciate you adding the mini map there, it's much more managable with that. Even with that, I do tend to get swarmed by enemies though! @_@ Would be nice if you add a little SFX on the volume option since in the beginning menu there's no music playing yet, and I tinkered with the option and volume but I didn't know how loud it would be since there's no sound cue, and I was wondering if the button even worked at all. It's more comfortable when I do the adjusting in game though(pause menu) since the music does get affected immediately.
A really fun survivor game! Thank you for making it! (I actually might play more of this)
And thank you for streaming our game!!
That was a fun an addicting game. I enjoyed the pace of upgrades, that allowed me to keep myself interested in the gameplay loop and I was curious to see how the cards would play out. The mystery of what they were made me afraid of certain cards, but I managed to get through all of the cards without dying. I liked the radar you added because otherwise I would not have been able to survive for long. I found a way to kite the enemies by consistently going around in a large circle, which allowed me to also pick up the balls in a delayed fashion.
Very addicting and fun bullet hell! The radar is a smart aid for the first person view. The music and art are both great!
