Amazing game with game breaking interaction glitch.... For some reason every once in awhile E will get stuck on a single thing or stop working all together. I'd love to keep playing this game but until this is fixed I can't commit to another run!
GAME!
Got to wave 21, then enemies stopped spawning :p
Hitting the cat is pretty broken, gets you loads of money. Only lagged when upgrading spread or burst on turrets.
Really really like this one. bullet hell tower defense is a really good concept. A fully fleshed out version of this 100% something id buy. This game multiplayer would be especially fun.
As an untitled game connoisseur, I rate this game very highly, just like the other untitled game.
That's it, that all I have.
This is very addicting! It reminds me of spending hours on flash games on newgrounds! Great pixel art and fun music! Would love to hear some different tracks for different waves and maybe a boss battle theme!
Was fun until I got a groove going, then the aiming started messing up for both the mouse and turrets, then it started to lag! Kind of reminded me of a Clicker game after a while.
But was a lot of fun. :V
Aware of an issue where having too many projectiles on screen causes severe FPS drops but haven't heard of the aim being messed up, is it possible for you to outline how to replicate the issue? Was thinking about polishing up the title for a full release and think this would be good to address, thanks for bringing it up! (if not thats ok too thanks for playing)
The bug was that it no longer shot where I was pointing the mouse unless I let go of shooting for a second. I noticed that it happened right when I bought the 3rd-5th "spread".
The turrets also started doing it too; where they constantly shot in the same direction with no more tracking, after destroying a robot, but then they reset to a new target direction after they stopped shooting. So if a robot walked into the path, they'd continue shooting in the same direction.
Think I know the culprit to that problem, thank you!
You killed it with the pixel art on the bit cat and the art overall. I loved the way each game mode felt, they were all incredibly well done. Amazing work!
I really liked Untitled Mouse Game! The upgrade system felt great, and the defense/interest modes on the ATMs was a fun design choice. The art and sound effects were great too! Both runs of the game, it seemed like something happened with the Mouse's collision box. It got stuck in the bottom left corner of the screen, so I couldn't be hit by bullets, and I couldn't access the shop. I would love to see more.
This entry was incredible, I was hooked by the gameplay. I enjoy tower defense games and I liked how the turrets could both shoot and make money. That was a clever twist. The artwork was also fantastic, the cat’s expressions were hilarious. This is one of the best games of the jam that I have tried so far(probably highest rating so far lol). Great job!
What an amazing entry the gameplay was addicting I love tower defense game and adding that turrets can not only shoot but generate money took it to the next level. The artwork was amazing too all the different faces on the cat got a good laugh out of me. This is my favorite entry of the jam I have played so far. Excellent work!
I love idle games and tower defense games and this.... this was dangerous for me. So much fun, and a really nice gameplay loop of balancing ATM modes to survive vs. thrive. Excited to see how high I can push the upgrades.
I think I might have hit a bug later in the run where one of my ATMs wasn't able to switch modes, and interacting would open the shop, but that didn't really detract from the experience.
Art was excellent too, loved the swish on the mouse's tail and the expressions on the lucky cat. Definitely coming back to this game!
This was... addictive.
Very well done, I wasn't sure at the beginning how the ATM things worked but once I understood how to play it was very enjoyable
Well thought and significant upgrades that is not always the case in this kind of games
Art is excellent, loved the mouse tail animation
Congratulations! Wonderful entry
Oh my god what a dangerously addictive TD.
It took me a little bit to understand how the ATMs worked at first maybe it could use a little more visual feedback to quickly know where you can and cannot place them BUT once that was clear and cash started flowing I was hooked!
Really liked the art here, even the little animations are smooth and really satisfying, overall great visual personality.
Even though the sounds can be a little overwhelming at times it really adds to the whole hectic atmosphere. I can definetly see this game being bigger if divided in stages or so.
Overall a great work, really polished gameplay, I would certainly be super hooked to this if I had it on my phone.
Great art! Nice, chill tower defense game overall.
One feedback I have is the economy in the beginning is a little hard to get going. Like it might make more sense to have players start struggling with builds/optimization once they get to at least the midgame. I found I was running into some really tanky enemies at just two turrets bought. Just a minor nitpick though (esp. given the time constraints)!
Meow.
Pretty good game. It’s graphically all there. A few sound effects were annoying (the turret sound effects can get overwhelming when you place too many of them), but it was overall good and felt polished.
The difficulty I had at the start could not be stated in full, however. The whole thing railroaded me into placing all the Turrets in the world to produce all the money in the world. I probably missed something, but I felt like that was my only path forward.
Anyway, thank you for sharing. Great game!
