How does your game represent "Power"?
This game draws a parallel line between power and influence by putting the player in the shoes of a powerful emperor.

Power in this game is to be able to keep the crowds happy. But the more power you get, the more risks you take to be betrayed.

To keep in power, keep an eye on all gladiators, to ensure no cheater is spared.

Very fun original concept! Love the art! :)

Lots of fun here. I especially like the task balancing aspect, much to consider any time. I found it a little difficult to stay crouched beneath throwing tomatoes though.

This was awesome, presented perfectly. After reading your DS comment, It clicked and I felt 7yo again lol. Nostalgic, fun, fives across the board.

Et tu, Brute?

The game's art style looks amazing! Dodging the tomatoes took some practice at first. The interactive tutorial was a huge help.

This took a bit of a learning curve to get the hang of, but it was really cool once I did.  Those tomatoes take some getting used to for sure :D

Cool game, love the visual style and overall polish

Oh hey! We went for a similar theme, great minds think alike! I really like this game's aesthetic -- the spritework is incredible!

Checkout this other jam that we did some years ago: https://vittales.itch.io/tanknroll
I think there's more things alike :0

The artwork and animations are fantastic. same with the sounds. I struggled with the controls a lot. I think standing and crouching assigned to keys would make a big difference. Because the controls kept messing me up, I couldn't get my approval rating high enough to see if there was a cool ending. I want to see what happens with such great power!!

Turns out that trying to replicate a DS aesthetic mechanic on a PC is much harder than we expected when you don't have a stylus.

Great animations, i couldn't really figure out what to do when the red and green words appeared at first but all around a very fun creative game!

The animations and art are incredible, the gameplay is very creative and is top notch, one of the more creative games ive seen so far.

The game's art was sensational, and the way the "power" theme was applied was very creative. The gameplay is very similar to the DS game, the only thing missing is the second screen lol, it could easily be a DS game. I liked the dynamic of paying attention to several elements at the same time. I think is fun

In a weird way our games are pretty similar. Overall this was super well made. Love the look of it.
