i liked the atmosphere here, i actually got pretty sucked in and got jumpscared by a demon chasing me but  i killed him like a badass, totally didnt piss my pants. the cutscene at the end is quite worth it, really well made and really puts what i just played into context.

I liked the effort put in for that cutscene, and man was it worth it. Very cool aesthetic, and some nice gameplay ideas. Good job!

the models are very nice and the gameplay is spooky. i think you could do without the pixel shader because has good enough textures and models without it, nice work!

Seconding this!

I want to try this again later, since this seems like largely a skill issue, but I couldn't get a good rhythm going.

The UV weapons all seemed like they weren't doing much in the long run, and I would always end up getting swarmed as soon as gas was low, which was often. Other than that, this is a vibe, monsters are creepy, and I'm sure once it all clicks it's really fun to multitask the gas and UV things. Good stuff!

Thanks for playing our game! I think the generator light stuns the demons. Just don't touch the demons while they're stunned cuz apparently you can still die that way.

There IS one more trick. More of a major bug one of our artists found out about... hmm... no. I won't say. It's too powerful!

Nothing on this planet could've prepared me for that cutscene. Of course the atmosphere, combat, resource management, and music were all incredibly choice as well. But that cutscene was simply next level.

Bravo!!! A spooky success :)

Thanks! If my cutscene blew someone away, then that means I am a masterful writer! Muahaha!

Also props for beating the game! It's hard. I still haven't beaten it myself.

The vibe is amazing, was pretty spooky. at a certain point i couldnt figure out to get the cart moving lmao but was very fun and the atmosphere was 10/10

amazing atmosphere and potently tense!! i was stressing out, but i was amazed at how fleshed out the ideas were, this would make a killer section in a full game :)) FANTASTIC WORK!!

Nailed the creepy vibes. This is pretty impressive for how short the jam was!

It's a game with a great atmosphere. The dark screen and low resolution make it feel both nostalgic and a little scary. I kept finding enemies behind me before I even noticed, and it was too difficult for me to clear. The way you refuel was a bit messy, which made me laugh.

Developer(+1)

I knew the low resolution would be good! The programmers who made it were gonna leave it out, even tho they said it didn't hurt game performance. But I told them it'll make us stand out. It did make one interesting scary line on my instructions-text hard to read tho. I shoulda made it bigger.
