How did you/your team interpret the theme?
The player plays as a dungeon janitor - the person (or something else?) that resets the dungeon for every visiting hero.
How was your/your team's experience in this jam?
We sure did.

This game looks awesome, the art has a nice about of detail, and the gameplay is solid, although the mouse was a little sensitive for my taste. the general system of gameplay seems well fleshed out and felt intuitive.
Thanks so much for playing!
In the options menu we've included a single option: Mouse Sensitivity
So in case you end up playing again, definitely give that a try!
(You'll probably have to set it to very low, the numbers could be adjusted)
I missed that, thank you. It was by no means unplayable on default but that's a great quality of life addition.
Very good art, nice concept, I'm not sure this music you used fits this game, but this is my opinion.
great presentation and good concept.
nice game.
The bug of light in browser version does not let apreciate the game, the download version allows you to enjoy the atmosphere.
I didn't understand why that monster was attacking me and how to defend myself, i was collecting things and could not avoid him :(
Anyway i like the dungeon atmosphere, the colors, lights and the exploration/collection-
i concur with Jon Bieber, a health bar could be a great adition.
Nice job and good luck!
thanks for the review! I agree we had a blood colored vignette that was gonna be our health that got disabled. Vlad is hangry and he wants you to give him a blood snack! I agree next time we will do an in game tutorial
This game has such a weird vibe I love it. My only criticisms are no health bar and weird control scheme.
Love the experience! Definitely got scared a few times while playing XD. I love the game play of it too. The arts reminds me of Elder Scrolls in the earlier days :D.
Thank you so much for playing!
Massive compliment about Elder Scrolls :)
Nice usage of lighting and pixel textures in this! I also enjoyed the music. Gameplay wise it was a bit of trial and error, as I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do (feed Vlad = "who is Vlad? Where is it? Oh, THAT'S Vlad").
My suggestion is to change task list to TAB or other button. Having two different actions on scroll was a bit akward to use.
I don't know if this happened to anyone else but tThe browser version's viewport is too small to see everything without entering fullscreen, and of course escape exits fullscreen in addition to pausing the game. The windows build was fine though.
This visually and musically reminds me of Doom engine with mouselook, or something of that era. Very nostalgic and the MIDI work is great!
The concept of the game is really interesting, which is worth saying only about the graphics: it is quite unusual for me.
In the first minutes of the game, it was quite difficult for me to navigate, probably this is due to the fact that I could not see the health indicator of the character, and the environment looked slightly unfamiliar to me, but then I, like, decided on the path and went through the game to the end.
The game is really interesting! The graphics caught me the most. You are great fellows!
I like the concept a lot! Our team also made a game about a janitor lol
The art and aesthetics of the game are wonderful! Everything is very clearly defined and illustrated! Shout out to Lou and Ulfgar!
The camera sensitivity is extremely high when I tried the game. I would move the mouse on my desk a couple centimeters, and would do a complete 360. The viewbobbing is also quite strong, it was somewhat nauseating to walk for me.
The music is groovy :)
I really like this game! It's a great setting
Thanks so much for the review!
There is a mouse sensitivity slider in the options menu, we should be more clear with that.
Someone screwd the lights badly, so badly in fact that I can't really see anything!
We've got this report a few times, and we think it might be related to the way the web build is interacting with your browser and hardware. We have release a Windows build that a few people have mentioned cleared the issue up, so if you'd like, you can try that!
If you'd like to, if you could message me your browser/version, CPU/GPU, and whether or not you're using hardware acceleration, that may give us more information to test our builds with in the future! Thanks~
I don't know how to play and looking up is just pure white, it seems like a fun concept but it didn't play right for me :(
The idea and presentation were really good; i have to say the actual visuals were amazing, as well as all the other assets in the game. More clear instructions would have been nice, maybe it was because the resolution was being weird and i couldn't see all the info, but it took me a bit to figure out what i was actually meant to be done. great Job all in all!
Thanks so much for playing!
Yeah clarity and more tutorialization we're at the top of our list of improvements to make but unfortunately we just ran out of time, so glad you liked it though! :)
