Im not very good with card games but its really well made, the interface is so inviting and fun, very polished and with lot of smooth effects to make it feel easy to play, I hope you continue this game after jam, its a cool game!!

I never played Balatro simply because I never understand poker and any other gambling card games. So I don't get much fun playing. I just choose any card and pyum pyum the enemy until dead.

I mean, you pretty faithfully turned Balatro into a turn based card battler, that's for certain. This really was a Balatro 2. Good job?
fun little card battler game you made! enjoyed the mechanics and learning the fundamentals of the game. could see this being expanded upon and made into a larger project!
I don’t appreciate copying existing games for competitions, but I assume you chose to do that with comedic intent. It took me a bit to understand the boss fight as my brain was stuck in balatro mode, an association disadvantage for sure! With bigger boss designs, the card game/fight concept can absolutely carry potential
