How does your game fit the theme?
In this game, you play as a snail who must dive to the depths of the ocean to save his only true love! One problem though… a snail cannot dive that deep… fear not, as the power of LOVE can do anything, including denying the laws of physics! Use your heart (quite litterally), to find and collect bubbles which allow you to dive deeper and rescue your true love.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All assets were created from two devs, including sprites, animations, coding, and the game, excluding some help from chat gpt for coding, and sound samples, which were taken and edited from zapsplat.

Awesome and creative idea. The graphics are cool and bright.

great little puzzle game you got there!

Awesome idea! I loved the level progression and the move mecanic.

Very cool leash mechanic, following his heart! Great little game :)

Very good concept, original, simple and effective!

What I like is that right from the start it's easy to understand the movement system, but as the levels progress you start to rack your brains because the game play is much deeper than at first sight!

A big bravo to you, in just one week it's impressive. Building levels must take a long time!

you nailed the player movement, i finally get to play a game where the player movement doesn't feel like a 2 year old made it.

I really the core mechanic. It's chill that you can just play with your mouse hand.

I did the some of later levels a bit frustratingly difficult for a GameJam game  even though the game is fair that it doesn't bullshit your.

Would've loved to see something thematic in the mechanical clickacle areas. Like why does Red kill me? Why can't I click on purple.

All in all an impressive thematically sound experience.

I really liked the idea and level design, it's fun and creative, congrats.

This is the most creative player movement I have ever seen in a platformer! Also really liked the heart animation.

Nice.  Very tricky!  Good difficulty ramp.  Congrats!

cool game! This was kind of like mine but mine is a grappling hook that hands to hit something. I love games with a basic mechanic yet fun!

I love when devs take one simple mechanic and just make the best with it. Visuals and sfx were really nice too.

I have to say that I like the art style, The background and sprites in general are good, the only thing I felt lacking in the art department are the levels walls being a rectangular solid gray colour. Gameplay mechanics are nice and well thought.

Developer(+1)

Yeah.... i coudnt figure out how to get the walls to work with the textures my artist made, so we decided to keep them a solid color, as this was one of my first unity projects /:

For a first project is quite nice! Next jam I'm sure you'll be able to perform even better now that you have more idea of what can be done quickly and what takes more time.

the game mechanic of the game is really cool and could be turned into a full game or somthing like that but the grapphics are not to great. over all good game

Fun game and enjoyable mechanics, Great Job!

Very nice game! The only parts I didn’t like were when you had to navigate off camera but other than that, great work. The awesome controls of the snail made this a blast to play! :)
