I loved this, super cute concept and unique in terms of what's been uploaded to this game jam. It played well, was calming and the art style was great. Awesome work :)

Very hard but totaly cozy and unique game. It is beautiful, calm, plays nice and overall has a good feel to itself. Well done!

The gameplay is simple and very fun, I like the visuals a lot, the story is simple but keeps you hooked, only thing is that sometimes there's no wet dirt for a long time and you have no way of progressing.

Very cool root growing system, looks difficult to create and animate. Nice job with the game and the story!

A nostalgic adaptation that hits home for fans of an older game, but could benefit from additional randomization to maintain challenge. The gameplay loop and heartfelt story create a truly touching experience.

reminds me a lot of one of my favorite games on one of the last lds. But this is a great adaptation and I enjoyed it as much as I did back then. Felt a bit harder, but then I also didn't relised that I can remember the dark spots like HansLiu said ;)

Fun little game! Love how it went full circle

met my expectations from the thumbnail! I like the concept but could add some randomization as it became really easy after I memorized where all the wet dirt was at.

Mind rating mine?

I am awed by how you took this prompt. The cycle, growth in character and ever the gameplay made this all so worthwhile. I don't know what I expected when  started this game, but this exceeded all my expectations.

I'm a bit biased, but this is a touching game with an awesome story and fun gameplay loop; tugged my heartstrings ;))

very cool game, the water in the ground could be a little more obvious or visible, but over all cool game

Developer

Thanks for playing! There was initially intended to be a marker to direct the player towards the objective to help with that issue, but alas, it was scrapped.
