How does your game fit the theme?
After each platforming level, there is are one or more doors, where you can open one. there might be more hp, less hp, or a lvl3 boss after the tutorial level.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote the code myself, and used public domain assets. Credits are in the game page and the credits screen.

Great work! The only issues that I encountered were that I made the boss to jump off the platform and after that I was not able to open the door :D Also, jumping into the void reset hearts, I don't think it was intended

This was a cute little game, the powerups are cute and the difficulty is consistent. I reached a part where i got stuck after beating a lvl 1 boss and doors gave me the reward but didn't teleport me somewhere else, I wasn't sure whether that was the intended end point or if I got bugged

Enjoyable little platformer! I want to say night job first of all. I wish there was some background music as the world felt a bit empty without it. I also would have liked a bit more progression so I felt like I was working toward something. There was a stretch were all I got was HP up and didn't see a boss for a ton of doors. Then after the boss that showed up I got nothing but HP down for a long time. The controls were nice if not a bit floating and I wish you had a key bind to open doors rather than clicking on them, but overall wonderful work.

I'm also in the jam, and I know with more time everyone has a list of things they'd like to add or wanted to add. I try to provide the listed feedback in a constructive form to highlight different perspectives as a player and to show that I indeed did play the game.

  • Great use of Kenney's assets
  • Having the multiple doors after a boss fight was a bit confusing.
  • I was able to get to boss lvl 2 before boss 3? Boss 2 was harder than boss 3.
  • I wish the boss mechanics had more engagement that wasn't just shoot, jump, shoot, jump, shoot.
  • Small polish, don't show the doors until the boss is defeated

Liked the game, the only thing is that after a while it gets a bit repetitive

Great game. Going through all the random doors was fun and seeing what each spell did was cool. Taking damage on the spikes was a little weird. I found out that if I jump off the edge I get all my hearts back which was a pro way to keep progressing :)

The concept is very nice and fun but i think the bosses are a bit rare, and idk if thats just a problem for me but the bosses are way to easy even the level 3 boss i beat with standing still and spamming also i think the doors give way to much health would like some more variation there. but i think the game has great potential and is already fun. Good job

The concept is nice, and I did like the combat it was pretty fun. Though the combat seems to be very rare. I was excited for when I unlocked fireball and lightning, but then playing 3-4 platforming levels for HP going up and down wasn't so fun.

Got to level 15 and a lot of hearts, but then got 7 (!) minus hearts in a row, haha

Great game, the idea is very neat, even if it is simple and minimal. Bosses are cool, though I didn't feel much of a difference between lvl 2 and lvl 3 boss. Also the randomized levels which also progress in terms of their design was a cool touch, which made the game less repetitive. Great stuff overall!

Loved it! One of the best games I've played so far and thats even more of an achievement considering its your first jam! Loved the playstyle of switching between spells on different cooldown timers

I thought the randomization of the doors was a good idea, but it gets pretty repetitive and I managed to go on a streak of losing all my hearts by opening doors. I think it would play a bit better if beating a level didn't come with negative consequences. 


I also eventually ran into a bug where I clicked a door and got the bonus but wasn't transported to a new room.

Boss combat was okay, would have been nice to have them do more than stand still and fire the same projectiles.


Overall pretty fun though!

Heyy I run into a bugs I think. At level 2, I am stuck in front of a door. Andd, try adding BGM to enhance the playing experience

Great job! I like the weapon/spell system. Bosses can be though, but rewarding.

Great game! I love the mechanics and the parkour feature to get to the doors! Fun and creative way to make a door game, keep up the good work!
