Interesting horror concept! I'm not a fan of this genre, but this horror intrigued me! You did a great job with the visuals and sound, they created the right atmosphere!

Submitted(+1)

Couldn't hear the sound even after maxing out the volume. And can't find the door because its too dark. I feel like it's a good game but I just cant play it, I wish you added a brightness slider as well

Really nice game flow and game loop for sure. I did find it challenging to remember what all the aspects meant, so I failed miserably at the game. But it's well made for sure, and a cool concept.

Nice work.

I like the intro tho, where you make sure that the player has the right settings. I like the graphics it reminds me of the old ps2 games it really took me back. It was a bit challenging to remember the client's aspects but I like challenging. Idk what happened to the client but he doesn't look like human 😂😂, overall cool game and it would be cool if you can rate my game too.

eyy that was pretty fun! maybe a little too hard at the start trying to remember what looks = what item, but once you do it's pretty much smooth sailing. maybe making the player be able to open the drawers regardless if there's a client or not could help out alot when trying to find some items. the door bug does get annoying at times, but very good game, i enjoyed it!

Amazing concept. It was kinda tricky that we had to remember all the aspects and then give the item. Nice audio and atmosphere.
I suggest having a little bit of difficulty by adding a jumpscare if we don't give the correct item in 2 or 3 tries. This may also help to add fun to this game.
Overall, great submission for this game jam. Congratulations :D

Loved this introduction, reminded me of Fallout New Vegas :)

This was really fun!

Some suggestions if you don't mind: I think having a notes system for the player to look at instead of having to go to the wall everytime might be a bit easier on the player. I also had trouble seeing some details on the creature behind the door (but maybe my monitor is just too dark).

Really great game though! I had fun running around the room trying to find what that impatient client wanted from me. The art of everything really meshed well together and I appreciated the effects on the items to help identify them quicker.

The positions of the checklists is sorta intentional just so players can't quickly go back and forth (plus if you think about it you're gonna have to walk all around the room each time due to the item placements) I 100% agree with you that I need to add a brightness slider though for sure. Thank you for the feedback! :)

Perfect. Just perfect. the game was awsome and I don't mean to brag but, I say that you should continue the project after the jam as with a little more work put into it, it would be steam release worthy !

Please rait my game too ! : https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2535873

OMG!!! I enjoyed it a lot!!! The gameplay is fun and the graphics are amazing ;) Truly had a blast!!! It's just it's a little too dark though and I couldn't make up what did the client looked like... But, overall it's a very fun game ;) Keep up the good work

Thank you for the kind words :) ...I knew I shoulda added a brightness slider 😭

awww sure the pleasure is mine :) 😁hihi, it's alright 🤗 the game is still fun to play nonetheless

Great idea and execution. Love the graphics and atmosphere. The UI and the inspection are very well done. Cool touch to include the sounds menu at the start to make people turn the sound up instead of down because it's at 100% (might steal that idea for future projects). The post-process looks very clean and polished. The gameplay loop is a lot of fun, too. The suspense after you've delivered an item is great. You are always unsure if you overlooked something until the very moment the light turns green. For my personal setup, the room behind the door where the monsters are could be a little brighter. It was very hard for me to see the features, but I am also sitting in a very bright room, so there's that. I only encountered some minor bugs, like inspecting objects twitching in a kind of weird way, but that's pretty much it. Overall, a VERY solid and fun experience. Also, the type of game that, with a little bit of luck, I see a lot of streamers and YouTubers play. Best of luck if you choose to continue this project. Great job.

Thank you for the in depth review! :)

HOW CAN I EXPLAIN HOW PERFECT IS THIS??? yknow the feeling when you are just trying to get whatever behind that door rid off is just freaky, the fact that the door got me in the end straight to my face was one of the most coolest things i have ever seen xD and the mechanic is really unique, giving the fact all of this data being sorted in 7 days is just fascinating!! well done, you have outdone yourself!

Developer

Thank you! I spent almost a day on that door animation (including the sounds for it) because I really wanted it to be impactful :P

This game was a really cool idea and very fun, but very hard too! I didn't get any right because I couldn't see the monster's features! I could just need to git gud!

Developer

oh no! Was there maybe a lighting bug? This was my first attempt at 3D so I hope that wasn't the case :c

Submitted(+1)

I love the graphics, looks really good. Could use a bit more time to figure out what they want, lotta items to go through in such a short time. Otherwise this was really cool.

Developer

There is currently a bug after interacting with the door, causing the game to softlock. I cant for the life of me figure it out, mostly because it doesn't even happen on my computer... If you're one of the unlucky ones that get it, I am sorry.

Developer

This bug shouuulldd be fixed... :)

Developer

Love the art and sounds. It looks great.

I always love seeing PSX games.  Its my favorite art style especially for horror.  Love the atmosphere.  Wish there was audio.  4/5

Developer

there is audio!! You can open the pause menu to mess with it. (Unless it's bugged lol)

I didn't get far, I was worried there was no sound, then I went to settings. The picking up and grabbing was a little strange for some reason of items. Lots of glowing stuff.... I like that it started slow and the tutorial wasn't too long. Overall I gave it a 3.5/5 Good job!
