The gameplay and art style is fantastic. Loved it.

Only improvement over it i can think of is working on controls. But all in all, you made a solid game in a week.

Great game. Really liked screen transitions! Controls feel a bit floaty, but they work for it.

Great Job on this one!

Balanced out well, the controls do feel clunky but it works for it

What a great job of game design and art. However I did get stuck at the second door after the turtle. Great Job!

This was such a fun game haha! loved the blend of 2D and 3D, fit really well with the theme and artstyle! Great work :D

The 3D effect is so cool, and in general the game has a lot of stuff going for it inside the paint art that in my opinion just fits the vibe of this
The gameplay itself lacks a bit, I feel like you could've done a lot with a tower defense game but the main game is where you collect the "soldiers" and get to different platforms
Although the way you interact with stuff in the game, including the settings page, is so creative, more games should do this

What a cute and fun game! The writing was funny and I enjoyed all the different monsters. Very cool effect with the rotating room.

This 3D shift is really good!

Amazing art-style and camera work! I could tell right from the main menu that this game was going to be a good one.

Great work! Beautiful artstyle and fancy concept. I love this combination of platformer with this sort of a quest to reach every monster. Really fun to play. You probably need some small fixes of grammar mistakes and maybe make way to the shop quite easier to make it perfect, but even now it's an amazing game! Turtle army is a necessary asset for every person nowadays:D

Thank you, English is not my first language so I make tons of mistakes when I am inputing text directly into Unity, should have done more  proof reading, but we were working until the last minute XD.

I want to fix things people is noticing after the rating period, I had much fun making this game with the team.

I liked the shifting of the view when opening some doors.  Neat artwork!

Super interesting concept! The cartoonish artstyle makes it even better (bouncy turtle GOD)

Here's my feedback:

  • There are some grammar mistakes made here and there.
  • I don't think its inteded, but even though the cursor doesn't appear, you can still drawg monsters in other rooms.
  • When you purchase the turtle-bag-something (the thing that allows you to move the turtle door), an incorrect text is shown (the meteor shield) instead of the correct one. That confused me a bit. when you click again on the purchased turtle-thing it shows the correct text.
  • Sometimes the bounce collision worked weird.

Nontheless, it was such a unique game!

Loved the concept! Turtle = GOOD! Great job!

This game is really cool! I like the idea of using the monsters for platforming - that is very innovative!

I really like the cartoony artstyle and designing the game around bouncing off of monsters was a really nice gimmick. I found the design to be a bit confusing at times (I was stuck on figuring out what to do next after getting the bat, for example) and the gameplay loop of having to bounce off a bat to access the store a little frustrating, but I felt that it was pretty satisfying to realize what I needed to do to buy the meteor shield and the scissors, and I think it paid off. Really nice game!

I loved it! Really really interesting concept, the visual style merges perfectly and the transition between levels makes it look like 3D (I don't know if it actually is 3D or not), but I loved it.

As a complain I would only say the jumping on the turtles got a little tiring by the end, and getting to the shop was too difficult at first.

Thanks and congratulations, it looks incredible!

I'm also in the jam, and I know with more time everyone has a list of things they'd like to add or wanted to add. I try to provide the listed feedback in a constructive form to highlight different perspectives as a player and to show that I indeed did play the game.

  • The title screen being the game itself is clever
  •  The transition between scenes is a nice polish
  •  Dialog box looked out of place from the rest of the art style
  •  Minor detail, dialogs aren't always grammatically correct
  •  I had to play the game twice to get the prompt again about garden and sending stuff for it to click about some how being able to send turtles in the room
  •  Was not a fan of clicking on the door to go back
  •  Character behind the shop door confused me, and I thought I broke the game until I randomly decided to move them
  •  It's frustrating to get to the second platform where the shop is. It always takes me 2-3 tries to spawn out a bunch of bats.
Developer

Thank you for the feedback, we run out of time, so we didn't proof read enough and some art wasn't finished. About the second platform, where the shop is, we were thinking how to avoid having to call bats again or make it fun, but in the end we prioritized getting a complete gameplay loop. We might improve the game if it keeps getting feedback :)

This one i really liked. I love the cartoonish artstyle so much. And also how the whole game feels like a cube with the scene transitions. Honestly it's really well made and I spent a lot of time playing it. Really well done! :D
