The game looks very promising, but unfortunately, it crashes during the tutorial for me :/. I tried on Firefox, Chrome and Edge (on windows 10) and it crashes randomly when I drop my square on a tile :/.
Apparently, it's not the case for everybody, so I won't set any rating, but the game strated really well and I'm so mad I cannot make it work ^^'.
It makes me mad too, believe me!! It's really hard to figure out why this happens because it simply does not happen on my system. I try my best to figure out the cause and update the game after the voting phase.
If it can help, the error message in the browser is" Uncaught RuntimeError: index out of bounds" ^^'.
Don't worry too much about it, fortunately other people can play the game, I'll just wait for your fix =) (please ping me if you manage to find a fix, the game seems really original and promising ^^)
Thought the UI, visual design and sound design were very satisfying! Thanks for creating!!
I love this minimalistic visual style and gameplay with soundtrack is awesome.
Only problem i have with stairs direction.
Damn fighting with Boxy is hard
The music in this game is actually a banger! I love the game design :D It's really simple but also addictive, love everything about it! I think I got a little lost when there were multiple different shapes, but it was challenging and fun! Thanks for making it! :)
Always gotta appreciate design that needs no real tutorial to understand how it works game was easy to understand in seconds. Love the sound a music. Top notch really enjoyed this game.
Super clean UI and great music to go with it, but unfortunately I couldn't even do the tutorial, I tried 5 times and every time the object you drag disappeared and everything froze
weird! I have a friend to whom this also happens, seems to be a very specific problem. I can't reproduce this on my system though which makes it 100x harder to identify. Sorry!
yeah that is weird, maybe its a screen resolution thing or even browser related
Could you tell me the OS and Browser you use? (And maybe additional information you think could be important).
My friend is using Brave on Windows 11. Using Microsoft Edge for this game 'solved' the issue for him.
I'm using Firefox on Windows 10
Great work. The UI is nice and clean and very responsive making it a very pleasant experience. Personally, the click and drag mechanic isn’t my favourite (I’m a slow click and dragger), but this is just a personal preference and I think it worked very well in this game.
I got a bit confused with the direction of the stairs and also which doors had been visited or not, but I think this can be improved with clearer visuals/colours to indicate which doors have been visited and the direction of the stairs.
I also enjoyed the humour throughout. Nice work!
Thank you for playing! The plan from the start was to make the floors a bit more visually distinctive and give the doors more 'life', but unfortunately my time was cut short by life circumstances :/.
Humor in the title and concept. Simple, intuitive battle-system; I like the idea. The battle mechanic worked smoothly. Personally I don't like clicking and dragging so much, but I still think it is a good mechanic (just not my preference). The simple visuals worked well together and it felt stylistically consistent.
I was a little confused at first about the direction of the stairs and how the player was moving from place to place.
I think a better indicator of completed doors would be a nice touch; instead of the door just being non-responsive, you could have a checkmark appear over it or or it makes a sound when you try to click it or a message pops up or something.
Great work!
Great game. I liked the fast pace aspect of it.
If you plan on adding more content after the GJ, I can see this becoming an amazing game.
Good job :)
Very fun and addicting
