How does your game fit the theme?
Players will use the "calm before the storm" to build a shelter for their fire. Once the storm is unleashed, they will find out if their shelter was sturdy enough.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. All of the code and assets were created by me from scratch except for the royalty-free sounds and fonts.

Really fun! Wish it had more levels haha. I hope to see more of this game in the future! It was funny when i had built a part and i just move the last log or stone through the thing i built and it all falls haha. But then i got used to move stuff up. During the storm, the light makes a special moment!

great fun little game, takes me back to my childhood playing games on the internet during class. puzzles were simple but still hard and rewarding. great job!

Honestly really good game here, has that like polybridge kinda vibe. really smoothe gameplay and really fun, well done
Very cool game, I had a hard time with it, not gonna lie.
I think each part of this game was executed well. From the art, sound, design, implementation, it all felt just cohesive and nice. The fire as part of shelter creation was an interesting touch that was very frustrating, but an interesting challenge.
I will say the amount of force one object exerts on another during shelter creation was frustrating. little movements really pushed everything everywhere and I had to like one by one move all my building materials carefully apart from each other in the beginning(the most frustrating part of resetting).
There was a bug I noticed on the last level I guess, When I put stone or bricks on the fire, graphically it went out. but it was still burning wood. And when I clicked start storm button, It reappeared...
Other than that, the game was quite fun. Creative concept.
Loved the take on the theme, really creative! I loved all the work you did to catch edge cases like having the wood actually catch on fire. The custom icons showing how the weather was going to act was a really nice touch as well. Great work :)

Great building system! The sfx is also rather soothing, and it matches the art very well. Love the detail/challenge of accidently burning your wood, tried shaking my mouse really fast to see if it would go out.
Thanks for playing! My gf also tried shaking the mouse to put out the flame. Maybe I should add that as a feature!

Lovely concept and design. It's simple but works excellent and physics feel polished. I didn't pass the desert because... COME ON THAT TRUNK AGAIN! I'll be back to beat it :D

I can't tell whether it's a challenging game or I'm just bad at it haha but it was a very fun experience nonetheless. Also very satisfying to see your campfire survive the storm :)
