Very charming game! Unfortunate you didn't get to finish it
Definitely stands out for its genre. Nice work!

How does your game fit the theme?
You play as a teruteru (sunshine ghost) ironically trapped in some annoying kid's snowglobe. You have to defend its little island against the stormy onslaught of notes/snow and debris flying in all directions every time the snowglobe is shaken.
Our twist on the theme was to make our snow globe-inspired rhythm game have both a chill CALM phase and a STORM phase with more chaos different mechanics. Debris will be flying randomly, ready to destroy your precious island, and you cannot let it.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
yes, even the music

Absolutely stunning, I hope you'll do a post game jam update to polish the end game because I love it !!
That's interesting to see a rhythm game in this jam, and this one is quite beautiful ! It's too bad there is no ending, but making a full game in a week is hard... What's there is pretty polished, and it makes me want to see more !
Gameplay wise, I don't think having notes coming from all directions is a great idea, as it makes it hard to see in which order they appeared. It made things a bit harder than necessary in my opinion.
nice vibes and visuals! the rhythm buttons felt a bit too forgiving sometimes, i would click them not quite on the music but it was still ok
Fun game! The music and visuals are great. I'm terrible at rhythm games but I still love them.
I thought this game was okay until I saw this:

DAMN the art is good. Music too. I can't comment too much on the gameplay since I suck at rhythm games, but I still found it really fun.
I can't really complain about anything. What's there is there and its great 👍
Lovely game, everything fits so well together. It was a little awkward in some spots when you have to press the up and down keys almost at the same time, and it'd be nice if there was a score or a screen at the end. But it was fun, and the art and music are great!
The game felt so good.. but it suddenly stopped after a point and neither rock/arrows spawned in the scene
the visuals & music are incredible! i love rhythm games, so this was incredibly refreshing to see in the jam! the art direction is astounding, as well; please continue to make games!
Very nice. I wasn't able to figure out how to respond properly to the rocks, but the rest was very intuitive. I would recommend making it so that when the player hits a bubble note, they are also challenged to release the button in question in time with the bubble reaching a certain minimum size. Add that together with some sort of scoring or level or health system (like a small bar that drops drastically when a note is missed and rises slightly when a note is hit), and this could improve dramatically.
Good mechanics with a good vibe. I did miss a bit that the difficulty of the game couldn't be changed, but I still had fun with it.
