This game is so addictive.

Really tough. Every time I went out I ran out of fuel very quickly. In general it does seem like there's too much going on. The bit where you turn the three cranks is just busywork without any challenge. I think the game would be better stripped down, where the only real challenge is going out, getting scrap, and getting back before you run out of time. Or something like that, the point is that it shouldn't be as complicated and confusing as it is. That said, aesthetically this game was one of the better ones in the jam. Going outside for the first time was pretty beautiful and unexpected. Also, the full screen button doesn't work. I wouldn't point this out for most games, but this one seems very aesthetic and vibe driven. There's definitely a creepy vibe that reminds me of iron lung.

So yeah, a lot of potential, probably too complicated, but still a good experience overall.

Pretty solid game, a bit confused at the beginning of how to do some tasks. And the text from the notes wouldn't hurt to be clearer for the player to read :)

Hope that you'll also rate mine https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973690

You really nailed the atmosphere of space! I also really liked the visuals and the audio; Simplistic but suitable for the game. I think what would be nice though is to have the font of the notes be more clear, cause they took a while to read sometimes. That being said, I love the feel of your game!

You really nailed the claustrophobia, isolation and vastness of space. There's a clear shift in how everything feels when you're inside vs out.  Both the sound and visual effects really worked.

I died a couple times as a result of flying through the wall of the airlock. I could  never find the crank in time before dying, so I wish there was a little more time between storms, but I also get the urgent building between each cycle.

The space walk part is pretty cool and nerve-wracking.  It really forces you to master the controls.Very cool experience over all.

The collisions are so bad 😭

My biggest fear was people being unable to find the crank.  I guess I really need to make shit like that more obvious. Anyways, thanks for the review :))

Love the game and the atmosphere and beautifull shaders.

Though the game might be a bit difficult to understand at first, once you understand it a bit it gets a lot of fun,

I did feel like the time between storms was on the short side because after setting the rotation i didn't have much time left outside.

Would love to see this game developed more.

Loved the atmosphere (and the stratosphere. I kept running out of oxygen because I wasn't paying attention to it.  EVA'ing felt great too. Love seeing unique stuff like this made in Godot. Great work!  Congrats and good luck!!

Hee-ho. Cool vibe. Very nice

A really solid game tbh. Charming visuals.

I really like the full screen shader effect and the use of audio. The game has a great eerie, isolated vibe, and that's pretty unique and cool! It took me a while to figure out what to do despite reading all the notes (maybe you can put more instructions on your itch page for the time being). On my first play I figured out how to navigate the storms, then I got to the oxygen tank and i spam clicked to figure out what it did. I guess that emptied it (there were no safeguards or visual feedback). Then I died trying to find the crankshaft(?). The second time i stayed alive but still could not find the darn crankshaft!

Also on the page you say there is no winning - that's no fun! If I solve puzzles you have to give me a reward!

Anyway, great job making this in a week. And you did a great job with the sounds especially, really sold the vibe for me.

I genuinely wish I had time to make an ending 😭

If I do remake this game (which wont happen this year), I'll be sure to deliver on one :)

The game is supposed to be difficult, but I do think there is a lack of a reasonable tutorial :(

I really liked the graphics and audio, but unfortunately I couldn't figure out what to do in the game. The wheels in the first puzzle did not rotate. I flew into space twice and died twice

Gameplay can be a little clunky, but it has an incredible feel, perhaps the clunkiness even helps it. I don't know what this style is called, but I love it. I can easily see this turn into an incredible atmospheric horror/survival. A more comprehensive tutorial other than text lying around would be very cool though. An unsolicited idea: It'd be very cool if we had a companion on the ship showing us the ropes at the very start of the game who then dies right after the tutorial somehow. I think it'd really set the atmosphere and could be a very organic tutorial.

Good job for the solid entry! The game is atmospheric indeed. Unfortunately, I did not figure out how to melt the scrap....

I ran out of galaxy gas :(

10/10 game, would recommend.

Very strong audio and visual part. Atmospheric.
It's a little bit hard to understand what exactly need to be time and what the goal for a player.
First five minutes I was just running around trying to figure out what to do and kicked myself into space.
Second try was more successful but I still lost my air during metal scaping.

I like the vibe of the game. Sound design is top. Very cool entry!

I was creeped out while playing it. The audio and graphics are top-notch;  I wouldn't change a thing. The gameplay is a bit clunky sometimes but that's ok.

Overall 8.5/10 :>
