Butter my biscuts! This game is truly a masterpiece. Tyrek scared the poopidy scoop out of me at the end there! Very good graphics.

👍

GG asset flip #668

Abbey road reference?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??

(2 edits)

The collisions are so bad 😭

My biggest fear was people being unable to find the crank.  I guess I really need to make shit like that more obvious. Anyways, thanks for the review :))

Yea lol. I know what you where trying to go for, and technically it worked since the game was pretty hard.

When you mix the floaty controls (EVA is like that by nature), with a lack of control over the player, you start heading into frustrating territory. Not saying I was actually ever frustrated with the game, I had a blast, but its just a word of caution.

Please make a horror game with that aesthetic.

You have so much opportunity to create unsettling environments. The best way I can explain it is the uncanny valley for environments.

As a certified astro-nugget, I'm qualified to tell you that this game is HARD 😭

The voice acting is great, and the gameplay is incredibly fluid and smooth.

The visuals and audio slap.

My only issue is the character controller. I have 0 gravity EVA travel in my game and my biggest advice is to PLEASE add all 3 dimensions of movement. Just being able to move yourself up and down with space and ctrl would probably be enough.

I thought this game was okay until I saw this:

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
yes, even the music

DAMN the art is good. Music too. I can't comment too much on the gameplay since I suck at rhythm games, but I still found it really fun.

I can't really complain about anything. What's there is there and its great 👍

This game strikes me as a surreal museum. I kinda like the way you used the theme, even though I think its also stretching it a bit. But thats what game jams are about :)

The main stand-out thing was the aesthetic. Idk what to call it, but I really fuck with it. You could make a really trippy game with that art style.

For some reason, I found the computer room quite unsettling.

The gameplay is almost really good, but I feel like finding barrels is tough considering how little time you have to do it. My biggest problem is the character controller being really slow, and I can't move the camera to check my surroundings.

Otherwise, I REALLY like the water. I know its very random and specific, but I really enjoy how it changes with the storm. It makes the sharks much more threatening since you have less visibility.

A really neat tycoon game but the only real constructive feedback I can give is to add some sort of way to fast forward to speed thing up because the game is way too slow.

How did you playtest this?

This game has a really cute art style and despite being short, its gameplay goes deep.

I personally really enjoyed the cutscenes and found them really fun and charming (which is why I gave you 5 stars for graphic).

I think the gameplay is a tiny bit bare, but is a seed for what could be a really neat idea involving backtracking to get your tools and having more obstacles on the way.

I also managed to fall of the cliff lol

This is probably the highest I've rated a game jam game so far. It pretty similar to my game but better in every way lol. The gameplay was tight and fun. Sound design was really good for a game jam. Visuals are also neat. The progression was really smooth too, except for the first part where it was a little too slow IMO. Otherwise, this game is great on its own, let alone a game jam game.

Ronald Garp sold me fent.

freaky game but it doesn't really fit the theme. Garp

A tycoon style game is a first for me this jam :)

I honestly do feel like the audio is the only thing missing. I dont really mess with the AI art either.

The storm is a good threat tho, and the gameplay is gas.

I thought the game was okay. Then I drank some evil juice and that shit KICKED OFF 💀💀

It doesnt really fit the theme to well, but as a game, it slaps lol.

I genuinely wish I had time to make an ending 😭

If I do remake this game (which wont happen this year), I'll be sure to deliver on one :)

The game is supposed to be difficult, but I do think there is a lack of a reasonable tutorial :(

True. But you gotta use them correctly. The map design is good but the audio is a bit too loud.

This game changed my life. Although it didnt match the theme to well, I got to drink JD which is already enough to make this a top game.

2 GB asset flip GG its so over

charming game. the gameplay is fun and suprisingly difficult.

If this is actually your first game jam, this is really impressive! You did much better than me lmao

The starting puzzle was a little strange. The spaceship was cool tho.

Yea that what I was suspecting. I personally think it should be an occasional event thats clearly telegraphed but its not really a dealbreaker or anything. Good Game :)))

5 STARS THIS GAME CHANGED MY LIFE I SAVED HAROLD

Charming game with great art

The character controller can be a little unresponsive when moving to the left, but otherwise, the jumping and attacking are tight and fun.

Unlike other games I've played, your game has lots of great enemy variety that throws a wrench into the works. Fantastic work for 1 week 👍

I think you should be able to craft better gear to mine faster.

The game follows the theme well and the combat (even though its really simple) has some really good potential.

The audio is a bit loud but I cant really complain when you have 1 week to make a game lol. Otherwise, this game hits :)

First wave is CRAZY hard.

This game has surprisingly good movement tho. Enjoyed dropshotting the robots a lot.

Literally have nothing to criticize about this game lol.

The graphics reminds me of endoparasitic.

Ripping people to shreds as an evil lizard creature might be the most fun I've had during this game jam.

I feel you. same here. you did good :)

I love how this game uses the theme. The building mechanics are really fun too. God this game is hard though.

This game has been a gem so far.

I really enjoyed how the submarine controls like a seamoth, although hitting the wall sends you spinning.

The audio, visuals and map are done incredibly well. This game's main goal seems to be a spooky atmospheric game, and it delivers there. So great work :)

I rated almost every catagory 5 stars because most aspects of this game land perfectly. Perfect sound design, great art and even the voice acting was awesome.

The only gripe I have is with the gameplay. This could be a consequence of this kind of game not being my cup of tea, but the boat is extremely slow and watching it slowly sail to different ports got a bit lame.  Still,  great job on everything else :)

This game is really freaky with really good atmospherics. The corridor jumpscare got me...

I just think the map is a bit to big, and fitting into vents is a little clunky. I wish there where more puzzle sections and less walking sections. Otherwise, freaky/10

This game cured my brain tumor

The music and art are awesome. I dig the aesthetic and the top down character controller.

I do think the game is a bit of a walking sim. You walk a bit too slow and nothing happens in between the chambers. The game doesn't really follow the theme either.

Im a big sucker for time travel mechanics in platformers. The gameplay is the only thing that stands out though. The character controller is fluid and nice to play with.

 The graphics are fine

It would be nice to have some sound design.

The level design was surprisingly good. It took me a while to beat some of them. This is a difficult game 💀

I managed to get to night 6.

I really enjoyed this one. A papers please + phasmo style game is an amazing concept and you definitely need to try that formula in full feature game. The game design and fun elements are tight and all there. Good work.

Visual art is really charming and the game's style comes together really well, you can hardly tell it was made in  a week.

Sound design is fine. It does what it needs to, but its complete which is a good positive. All your tools make their own little noises which I like.

I do think the game falls a little in the theme aspect (to be fair, I don't think the initial theme was good). Having storm clouds fly in when a ghost is summoned would be a neat touch :)

Very strange bug I discovered but if you turn on the winter mode whilst the basement is flooded, the physics seems to bug the fuck out and send you flying all over the place. In general, winter mode shouldn't freeze water indoors but I think that's already planned.

Thanks for your many MANY (Concerning) hours of gameplay. Those streams were funny as fuck to watch lol.
