How does your game fit the theme?
We created an inventory management game where there is a hero collecting loot, we have enemies spawning in, but before the boss there is a few moments calm where the player has time to setup and equipt the character before the Storm (aka the Boss)
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Scott Bassett created all art assets.
Ashley Ross created all the code.

Very Cool!
Great little idle game, well done :)
Love this - what a fun idle game! Played it for about 20 mins and would have played longer, but at 10 armor I became invincible. More tooltips would be nice (over gear slots) and being able to replace items in one drag'n'drop movement would be nice features. Well done!
We need to balance it but you do eventually become not invisible as the enemies gradually get harder, I have yet to see anyone have end-tier gear, though I think this is because people only play for the 10-20minutes.
We were going to do drag and drop and we might change to this, the reason we didn't was because some items don't fill the same place.
Thank you for playing
Fun game! I like the potential but here are my ideas if the dev team decides to keep working on this project:
1. See the stats of equipped items when you hover over them.
2. Damage indicators.
3. The ability to sell things instantly but you only get 50% of the coins. Or make the market double. Al
4. At the selling stop, allow the player to maybe buy one of 3 items for coins to make the coins have use.
5. More enemy variation rather than just stat changes.
6. Faster game rate, it seems a little slow right now. (All though most comments said that lol)
There are just some ideas to make the game better. Overall a very good idea and it has lots of potential! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the feedback, I have been keeping notes and lots of what you wrote are on the list to do. :)
has potential, i like backpack type games, but it's a bit slow and mostly you just get potions as loot and not much else
A few times my backpack was completely empty and the item drop still couldn't fit in there. I think the speed in which you get items and fight needs to be greatly increased until it's frantic. The game requires either puzzle like gameplay or speed like gameplay
Some bags eventually drop, in the future, we wish to have the bags purchased at the shop rather than dropped. We want some items to need bigger bags before you can get them but we are looking at having the larger items only drop on the bosses though.
I like the Resident Evil style inventory system. I think the progression could have been sped up significantly, however.
Thanks for sharing with my stream! Here's the VOD of your game: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2256101019?t=01h09m43s
Thank you for playing, Love the (almost) pantsless run haha. There is a percentage chance for drops, you got the bad luck on this one.
fun game even tho I'm not a fan of this type of game
Hey, Its not for everyone, I had a go at your game and its not my style but its still great to see how many types of games get made from the one theme
yeah Ill never down someone for the type of game they make I put myself in the mindset of someone who plays that type of game so to not judge on my own preference on style of game
Audio was relaxing. Sometimes, the health bar didn't update when I got hit, but I was clicking the health potions? Dragging and dropping into inventory was a great mechanic. Soothing storm in the background. Nice entry! Thoughtful game name too.
There is a chance you had enough armor to block the attack, the enemies get harder and eventually you wont beable to block the attack. The potions auto use at 20% HP.
Thank you for playing
Great concept! would love a speed up button, it was a bit to much down time. keep up the great work!
Balancing the game needs work, but we are also adding this to the list of what we might do.
Very well executed game, It is fun to play and very polished.
My only wish would be increasing the pace and how fast we can collect items.|
Great Work
A few people have suggested this, we are considering it, but we will see how the game feels once we balance the items.
Interesting concept! It could really be a mobile game!
We are going to make it mobile friendly. We attempted to make double touch mark for sale but this was with like 10 min of jam to go, as one of the kids were like can we play it on the iPad, after we just uploaded it.
I like the idea! To make it more fun I think that you should add some new enemies and also a new mechanic to allow player to have more control. In example you can add the possibility for the player to choose to go in a place or another, add a shop where you can spend moneis, a place where to rest for a while...this game has a lot of potential! You just have to keep improving it!
Thank you for playing, its a prototype for the Game Jam, we enjoyed this one and we are looking at improving it after the Game Jam with intentions to release on Steam.
We want to add more enemies, and a range of different items so that its not just about getting the top tier but you can mix it up for the play style you prefer.
We don't intend for the player to have control over the hero's choices, but give the hero options.
Thank you for playing
That's good! I'm going to publish the game on Steam too!
Good luck :)
And to you too!
Really cool game idea! Never saw one like this! Good work! It could be one of those games that stays at the bottom of the screen and you play while doing other stuff. (right now i'm playing while writing here hehe)
Yeah, thats been my day while working haha. I was surprised at how idle play it was going to be while also being engaging.
Thank you for playing.
