How does your game fit the theme?
We created an inventory management game where there is a hero collecting loot, we have enemies spawning in, but before the boss there is a few moments calm where the player has time to setup and equipt the character before the Storm (aka the Boss)
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Scott Bassett created all art assets.
Ashley Ross created all the code.

Pretty cool auto combat game
Nothing compared to the pain your game caused my soul. Haha
Thank you for playing
What an interesting take using auto-battler and inventory management! It worked really well as the game is super fun. I spent a few minutes in here. The art is great and I really enjoyed that the main portion of the screen is the inventory management part of the game, while the runner is relatively small. Very unique! Some things I noticed when playing: It indeed gets somewhat easy when you stack some potions, and the mouse hovering is a bit buggy. But nonetheless the game is great!
Thank you so much for playing. The Boss and enemies do gradually get harder over time. I managed to get a Mithril sword and iron armour early in one playthrough and was invincible for ages before I went AFk and came back to being dead. We want to balance the game a bit more with other items getting added.
The Items Stats where a last day implement, we wanted them in there for the Game Jame, we will be refining this in the future.
Reminds me of old flash games! Lots of fun
Thank you, Im glad you enjoyed it. Oh good old flash games :D
cool
Thank you :)
The concept is great as others have said. And I have found myself enjoying it for a good 10 minutes or so. It's definitely unique and still fun so good job on that!
Feedback:
- It go quite easy once you get 1-2 potions. It just becomes but of an autoclicker. Having an actual shop or some upgrades outside of the run would definitely help.
- The game art actually works well! The player character UI needs some work but its minor.
I agree, I like the laid-back play style but we are looking at improving the game with the bag being a purchase from the coins you collect. We arent going to stop the auto run but slow down at the shop give the player a moment to click upgrade then keep going.
Thank you for your comment.
I love the concept behind this game. The UI could use a bit more polish, but otherwise this is really great.
Thank you for the comment, I normally spend too long on UI and not enough on other aspects so it took a backseat in this Jam. Definitely will improve it in next update.
Very innovative, interesting idea!
Thank you, glad you liked it.
Astounding, i like ur game concept & design so much. Now, its ur turn to try & rate us. Thank u
Thank you so much, Love how you have 3 endings in your game.
Hey, really a potential game concept. I am happy to see so many Godot developers did a great job this Jam. Good job man!
We converted over to Godot when Unity happened, and its been great to learn, We have done 2 other game jams using Godot, our game Support Circle (available on itch.io) and Cookie Rush (a multiplayer game that had a few too many bugs).
Nice concept, as someone else said it would be helpful to see the stats of items equiped. A part from that is a cool concept!
Thank you, You can see the overall stats, when you aren't hovering over an item, but yes I agree and we will look at adding this
I like that this is a management type of game and that the fight is done for me, heh. I wish I could hover over my equipped items to view their stats, because I ended up throwing away the good stuff. I realised that you can view the stats when you grab the items later on, but it would be better to just hover on them :) Otherwise great job :)
We are looking to improve the game after the Jam is done, and the way stats appear is on the list. Thank you for playing :)
very good game, and if you mind, make sure to check mine:

Original concept! I liked the game loop and the gameplay. The game is really engaging, great job!
Thank you, glad you liked the game!
I love the title! The attack animations are also really nice. I agree with some of the other comments though that the game feels a bit slow, especially once you equip some armor. Would love to see some way to speed things up.
In the future we want to have different armour options, the metal armour is meant to be heavier and slower but with more defence, mostly just prototyping is this idea would work.
The animations were created by me. I don't do a lot of character animation but this was fun.
Nice concept
The game feels a bit slow, running to the next fight and watching the fight play out. It might have been better to have the enemies appear more frequently and increase attack speed of everything
Nice submission otherwise
Attack Speed is based on the weapons you are using. We want to develop this idea further after the game jam. Most of the items stats are unbalanced but as a prototype you get the idea that there are options to choose from.
Thank you for the feedback
I love inventory management, so I really enjoyed this game! Some feedback: I think the shop should arrive more often, I frequently found myself throwing out items just because I wasn't able to sell everything in time. Otherwise, I had fun!
Thank you so much, yeah the joys of prototyping. We will look at balance and optimise it further after the Jam. The shop comes every 3 bosses, so I think it works out at 12 items drop, not great in early game with the small backpack but late game is it okay. You have to trash things and learn to hold only valuable items. The idea is that the shop is where you will purchase the bag upgrades with the coins (in a future update).
I liked the auto attack and the display of items. I marked an item for sale but it would never sell, maybe I missed something? I liked the showing of parts of the body but didn't seem to do anything. Perhaps I should see if the downloaded version works better, I was trying in the web version and maybe it'sworking better in Desktop version only?
When the Hero runs past the shop the items will sell, it appears after killing 3 bosses.
In the bottom left if you hover over an item it will show the stats of the item, We currently have 4 tiers based on colours, however, we have not balanced the game as of yet, it was more a prototype of the concept.
I haven't uploaded a desktop version, I'm not sure if I can now but I will look at doing that later on.
Thank you for the feedback.
Great game made here was fun and haven't seen one like it this jam. art was nice and gameplay loop worked well. Lots of potential future updates too. it would be nice to see your guy gear up when you equip items etc great submission
Yeah, gearing up the hero and adding enemies is the plan but out-of-scope for the Game Jam. I want to work on this one further. Glas to hear you enjoyed it.
I really genuinely enjoyed your game, I kept looking forward to see what items I would get after each fight. the loop was very well made, the items kept things interesting. This has been my favorite game to play in the Jam so far. Great work!
Wow thank you for your comment. I did all the art assets and we have other items we are going to add in once we look at how to balance the current items. :)
The atmosphere in the game is lovely, and the gameplay is genuinely captivating. I can easily see myself getting immersed and playing for a long time. Great work!
Thank you for your comment :)
