How does your game fit the theme?
The clock is ticking. A meteor storm is on its way
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The code is modified from an asteroids style game made by me.
All audio is from pixelbay.
Cover art is partially AI generated.
Almost all graphics were done by me. There was a tile asset sourced from kenney and the mine asset was from svgrepo but was modified by me.

Very Cool!
Cool game! Need to get used to controls, but than you get it it's fun and quite challenging. Really looking forward to the more polished version, it would be really interesting to play it!
The game is really fun, but a bit too difficult for me. I like the graphics. All in all, a good submission.
It is very, vey challenging. Maybe you should at least have eased the player into the difficulty, because it is very hard to figure out the mechanics while getting killed immediately. Generally I think I see what you're going for, and the graphics are pretty nice, so apart from a few rough edges, good job
Challenging game!
Shooting can be done with the mouse
or make some input steps (like Unity's Input.GetAxis or something like that) for fine-tuning the direction
The ship is also losing way too much energy, it's space, there is no air resistance :)
But other than that, good job with vector art and physics!
(Wow, it's made with P5. Did you wrote the whole physics engine?)
I had some help with the book of Daniel Shiffman.. but yeah. The trick is to treat everything like a circle then things get easier. There is also no sound in space btw.
Very cool take! The mechanics are quite hard though. I think the shooting mechanic can be done by using mouse instead of facing a general direction
Interesting take on the theme! I liked the art style quite a bit. Mechanics took a min to get the hang of but were pretty fun. Good work! Congrats and good luck!
Fun little game, with a good touch on the topic, wouldve loved to see some of your own style cuz i really liked it.
On that note, check out Meathook Massacre too :)
Well. Only the audio is completely sourced. I would argue that this has a lot of my personal touch. I have been very upfront about the stuff I did not create myself, wich is not a whole lot if you consider it.
Mechanics in the game were simple, yet challenging and fun to make sure I got enough energy to continue - nice job on this! And really great job on the in-game visuals!
Thanks! Its called flux. Only used for the cover art as I am more talented at vector graphics myself.
Oh i see flux! Yeah the "Layer" model does really cool stuff. Thx, good luck wiht the results and have a nice day 🫡
Can't see your submission anymore.. Did you remove it? Its final score is well deserved in my opinion.
i think the shooting was a tad janky but overall it was good fun, nice game!
Nice game, but the ship is really complicated to control and the shooting mechanic must be improved
Nice Game.
Thanks!
Controls were kinda difficult
Seems to be a popular opinion. I guess younger people are just not used to that kind of control scheme anymore. Will work on that. Hope you had fun anyways.
When I saw the SOLO text on the cover, I couldn't help but click😂 I agree with other comments, the game was a little difficult, but I still liked the game, keep it up.
Ah but you see its spelled SOl0 as in 'solar system zero', I assure you: Any resemblance to those figures or characters are purely coincidental ;)
Tokyo drift in space while gunning down cosplayers, yes please.
Will do. More is on its way.
at first, it was hard to understand the movement, but once I figured it out, I had fun shooting the enemy hehe. Good work!
Thanks, the control scheme is based on an arcade classic. I was thinking of adding a ‘follow the finger’ interface for mobile devices. I guess that could work.
It was quite a difficult game. I ran out of energy way to quick. And grabbing new energy did give me enough to get going again. Other then that it was a pretty good asteroid shooter. A little bit of a shame though that I couldn't even stay alive for one minute to experience the meteor shower.
I think that is valid feedback. Thanks. Im not married to the draining energy mechanic, it is also there too keep you from wondering off the map. But I guess the ticking clock should keep you focused on the target all by itself. If it is any consolation: The storm is even harder.
Quite a difficult game as well controls aren't exactly for me but at least I had enjoyment out of it!
Thanks, Im glad you enjoyed it.
