Good game, keep going :D
Thankyooooouuuu <3
I seemed to jump scare myself even though i had an unlimited ammo...... Really cool game
Haha you don't even want to know how the development process was for me, someone who actually hates the horror genre, constant jumpscares xD
Please rate my game, I really need ratings
Yeah I'll play all the games of everyone who commented on my game, I just need some time ;) It's quite a lot!
#no_theme
As written in an earlier comment, my interpretation of the theme was actually that the house has all kinds of holes which the enemies can enter through (windows), that you gotta patch up in order to stop them. So in that case the theme is implemented in the core gameplay! But I get that people could be confused about it tho. But Imo a theme is just there to center creativity about and limit the infinit pool of ideas that you might have before a jam, so going a bit beyond it should be fine :)
This game was fun! I played it all the way and beat the game. Maybe you could add more then 7 waves and more enemies to go after the player after a few waves. My favorite camping site was on top of the stairs where they only had one window to reach me. I love the graphics at low poly too! One things you could add is more noises to the enemies.
Thanks so much for playing, great feedback too! I definitely agree that they can be a bit on the quieter side, i should probably add walking sounds (like mechanical leg sounds!), and more enemies would be awesome. I definitely want to make it longer/ harder in future updates, thanks!
Awesome work!
Funnily enoough, I didn't realize the house had a second floor until like the 5th wave lmao
Hahah, that's great to hear xD You were like, wait where do all these bois come from?? I didnt see them enter? Lol! Thanks for playing!
Yea I was literally thinking that they're randomly teleporting in xD
It also makes me want to play cod zombies haha, kinda brought me back to those nostalgic times! Very well imlemented, I like the fluid hand/gun movements when you move the mouse, I actually got a few jump scares from zombies showing up behind me, they are so sneaky!
Haha that was the vibe I was going for, thanks for the kind words :D Glad you enjoyed the animations, I spent WAY too much time (proportionally) on the arm model, rig and animations, but I'm pretty proud of it so I guess it kinda payed off? Great to hear you got jumpscared haha, thanks for playing :))
I really wanna play cod zombies atm :D and I love the robot twist to it. Good job!
Hell yeah!! Thanks :D
Fun and scary
Nice game!
Great to hear you liked the horror vibes, thanks for playing :)
I really enjoyed playing this game - it captures the atmosphere of being alone in a house with some unwanted visitors really well (especially, if you turn around, and suddenly one of those guys stands right behind you). Awesome work!
The mechanic of being able to repair your windows between the waves is also a great idea.
Yeah these bastards really sneak up on you :PP Thanks, glad you liked the repairing too! Hope to make that mechanic a bit more useful in later updates! Thanks for playing :)
Spooky game! Gave me goosebumps all the time. There are visual/performance bugs it seems tho, because the game kept skipping frames when moving the mouse. The gun play is satisfying and I thank you so much that the enemies only take one hit. Please keep developing it, there's so much potential!
Oh that's a bit sad to hear, I don't know/ haven't heard about these from others so hopefully they're not too common! I'm super glad you could still enjoy it tho, thankss so much for playing and giving feedback :D I'll definitely do some later updates ^^
Man, this game actually got me scared quite a few times. Nice work.
Haha, that's the goal! Good to hear :D Thanks for playing!
Wow! This was actually the first game that I played from the jam, but I am just reviewing it now. I love survival shooters, and I would love to see what you can do with this baseline of a game in the future! This is an impressive amount of features for only a week, and they are implemented in a very clean way. Great job!
Thank you so much for the kind words!! Lovely to hear :) I'd love to expand on this concept a bit more, but it's good to hear you're already enjoying it as is (in it's bare and buggy state, lol!)
Cool game! But doesnt respect the theme.
Thanks so much! My interpretation of the theme was that you have holes in the house, which enemies enter through. You gotta patch those holes up as much as possible, which includes the 'hole' theme in the gameplay. Thanks for playing :)
Oh sorry
I really liked the Gun Play in this. Found the game breaking bug ahah. The stairs frame is OP.
Haha thanks for playing! I actually knew about this bug, but deciced that it would confuse players even more when they couldnt jump over the ledge thingy at all :P
They are behind me !
Lol! They're sneaky bastards, aren't they?
This is an awesome game! It’s a lot of fun, especially with the robots causing jump scare every now and then, and also, it has so much replayability. Great work!!
Haha that's great to hear! I actually got jumpscared a few times while making it. When the AI was implemented it actually was quite scary all of a sudden, lol! Thanks so much for your feedback :D
Hey this is ntwiles from the discord.
Serious polish on this game. This is how a gamejam game should go. I beat it on the first try but felt progressively challenged the throughout. I can tell you put a lot of work into balance.
Dude, thanks so much for the kind words! It was a pretty rough week and I felt like giving up a few times, but hearing this I'm glad I didn't! Glad the balancing isn't totally off-the-charts, although I didn't have time to playtest yet ^^ I've heard from others it's a bit on the easy side which I definitely agree on, so I will try to make it harder in future updates :)
Dope game, i think more maps and multiplayer and this can be super solid
Haha, stretch goals 'o plenty! Thank you for playing and the kind words!!
Fantastic! Besides some awkward movement I really enjoyed it and it was cool how you managed to remake mechanics from games like Call of Duty Zombies in such a short period of time!
Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! Really glad you enjoyed it :D I agree that the movement can feel a bit clunky, but it's the best I could come up with in the short time that we had :p
Nice game but need some more visual effects.
Thanks so much for playing! Totally agree but I completely ran out of time. Great tip for future updates!
