Great game! Good job :)
The art in this game is absolutely fantastic. It was so weird looking at the broken portal and all the hundreds of little pieces. I like how the ship started to deteriorate in the same way when my health got low. My only complaints are that the red viruses hit you even when they aren't even near touching you which I think could be improved, and for some reason the movement didn't really feel right. Maybe it was just a bit too fast but I'm not really entirely sure, I just feel like it could be improved a bit. Otherwise this was a really cool game to play. I also like the look of the bullets although I think you should have disabled their shadows lol. Anyways, super fun to play! Give my game a try too please :)
Nice game, well done for the vfx ! It could benefit from having extra moves mechanics (dash, roll or fly up and down) and I was unable to unlock the 3 level after beating the 2 twice but congratz for making it ^^".
Have you checked mine ? :) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/572864
The graphics are well designed. Game looks super polished!
Soooo an awesome game! It's so good.
wooooohooooo nice game :) i really liked the game design and the graphics !! well done ^^
the vesuals are more than epic !!
Very good graphics and music! The shattering visual effect is absolutely awesome!! Maybe slightly more complex enemies could give that extra punch? Anyway, I like it. Solid jam entry! :)
Here is our game, please consider rating it too ;)

I like how your intro goes, it would better if it can be faster to show the menu.
The control is smooth, and using fragments to represent the status of damage is a cool detail.
A minor suggestion, I think you can add certain sound effects into your game.
Such as an interaction sound, jet sound, etc. That would make player more immerse to the game.
Thank you for the feedback. Yea, I agree, I plan to make some changes to it after the voting ends.
The effect of the space ship on damage is really cool. Doing a very good job on graphics. I especially like your UI design. It is so elegant.
I'm really liking the shatter effect in the models, also the minimalist color palette really works with this. One thing i noticed is that the red mines seem to damage you even though they'd seem to be out of reach.
Really great game. The using of minimal colors, the way thing fall into pieces, the sound. I'm in love with the fonts you used. And please tell me what kind of song editor /generator did you use? I see that you wrote the geometry shader => pretty awesome work! Nice job, great entry!
Well done on graphics! Very unique and cool
Amazing graphics man, that minimal background color reminds me of mirrors edge, really enjoyed it
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it.
please try out mine too
The graphics of this game are very special, I like that you sticked to this limited color scheme, so everything looks crisp and clean. Reminded me of SuperHot :-). Gameplay is nothing special but fun to play and keeps you trying again and again to clean the level. Well done!!!!
Thanks for the feedback. Yea, I agree. I had only 3 days to work on it, and wasn’t able to add all the things I wanted for the gameplay. But I have an updated version that I plan to upload once the voting is over.
UMMM, how did you create a visual masterpiece in 1 week? I just wish the ship could travel vertically, or maybe a different vehicle that felt more grounded. But the way you indicated the ship was damaged? The animations? Enemy designs, color, level layout, music and audio. SO. GOOD.
Thank you so much for the kind words. That means a lot!!
I’ll probably try to play with vertical movement after the voting is over.
Also, I can’t take credit for enemy designs, I got the models from external sources. I just wrote custom shaders for their materials.
A very inspiring game, especially made in one week, by one person! First of all, let me say the visuals are what made me love this game the most! They're elegant, interesting, clean, coherent and really give me mirrors edge vibes, which is a really good thing! Also, I just love how you made the vertex explosion effect, I don't know how you did it (probably a vertex shader of some sort?) but it looks super duper cool, especially when you start the game for the first time and everything just explodes! The gameplay is fun, but leaves a little to be desired. It's definitely not bad, just a little easy, and maybe a bit generic? I kind of wish where would be some more enemies and maybe height-difference (fighing in 3 dimensions, as I am a flying ship?), and that kind of stuff. But you can do all of that in a next version of the game, which I would definitely do. This has potential, I think! You can currently only play 2 sectors, which is probably because of time constraints, but that's also something you could expand on in future releases. Good job on this entry and I'd love to see more from you!
Thanks for all the amazing feedback!! I just had 3 days to work on this game, and I ended up spending a big portion of the time in getting the visuals how I wanted, and ran outta time at the end. I have an updated version that has few more levels (including a boss virus level), and it is also tweaked better to be more challenging. I plan on updating it once the voting is over.
Also, for the shattering effect, I wrote a geometry shader along with tessellation.
Super cool stuff, I wish you all the best!
The gameplay wasn't anything special, but I like the unique use of the theme, as well as the visual effects.
very good game
the UI and the collers used are so fiting each others
the mouvments are smouth and satisfying
great work
Thank you. I’m glad you liked it!
