great work bro, that jump and damage taking sounds are cute, also i made that ork cry🤣🤣 nice face animation , i experienced a issue is that when you open shop and then you pause the game both ui just get mushed up together, i think you can fix it by ordering pause menu layer over everything else 😁 😁.

Great Game! I like the art. Its great for a first time. The final boss was too hard for me but thats ok. Also putting the controls somewhere is always nice.

Looking at the comments I see that I made the final boss way to hard and looking back I should of at least let the attack speed be lowered or the damage it does to the player be lowered. I tried to put the controls at the starting text but it did not work as looking back it just feels awkward to have big white text at the start of the game, next time I will spend a lot more time on the tutorial section to make it more game play oriented. I dared to jump into the hole. I think personally that dodging the enemy attacks felt extremely unfair at times and quite finicky. But the graphics and audio were nice, although the audio did get a little repetitive after a while.
I got the final boss down to like 20% health, but After 20 attempts, still had not beaten it, it would get a hit in every time I crossed over to the other side of it once I hit the wall, and I couldn't hit it enough times using the only tactic I could find that left me not getting hit most the time before I took enough hits to die. I thought it was clever to have to go backwards on the last one, despite the signs showing the other direction.
Thank you for the comment! Looking back I think I made the final boss way to hard I should of let the attack be slow and the attack to not do a lot of damage. Also the invisible walls were a total mistake as when the player just hits the wall they do not understand why they cant get through and that made for poor level design. Graphically the game is nice and consistent in it's style. animations could need some refinement and for example upon death I didn't see any dying animation. Even as the UI worked as it is, the UI could be made to fit the overall style.
In gameplay things the invisible walls were sort of a let down and after a boss it took a while to use the teleporter (i was just hugging the teleporter before I clicked or something)
Seems a okay project as a start.

Looking back I see the invisible walls were a mistake because players just got confused on what was going on and why they could not get through and that made poor level design. Also about the UI I did not spend enough time on it looking back I should of spent a lot of time on it. Thank you for playing my game and thanks for all the feedback it will really help me on my next game :)
Really nice looking game! the physics is a bit funky (sticking to walls) but besides that really good!

I dared to jump down the hole! Nice artwork and animations. The game looked very consistent which is often difficult to achieve. There were some minor bugs here and I think a more interesting combat system would have been appreciated as I was able to defeat most enemies by just spam clicking, but still a nice game you got here!
Thank you for the comment! I think a more expansive combat system would be good as well like there could be a chance that one of the monsters drops a bow and you will need to shoot the enemies instead of just clicking on them! Glad you enjoyed the game :)

Great art, liked the music and I love a good boss battle game. I agree with needing some damage text or particle effect on getting hit, that would improve the feel a lot! Great job!

Art style was awesome and the boss characters looked great. I would have honestly liked more of an indication that I got hit instead of just having the main character grunt. Needs some polish in a few other areas as well. Not bad none the less :)

Nice arts. I think you should make better level design. Also, It could be better with damage text or better hit animations.
Thank you for your comment! Yea my level design could be better because looking back putting invisible walls just confuses the player and is not good level design. I also like the idea of adding damage text as right now when the player buys the upgrade in damage you don't really see the difference that easily however there is a big difference. Glad you enjoyed my game :)

I really enjoyed, this game, clean looking toon graphics. You should add some hit graphics if you plan to improve it after the Jam. Its my first time posting on itch as well but ive released mobile games before.
