In what way does your game fit the theme?
You are a cop from the future crime division and you review footage of the crime. You can play, pause, rewind the action on the screen.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I made every asset as well as every line of code. However, I did use DoTween as my tweening library.

This was an original and fun idea, and was relatively well executed. Would love a continuation with proper audio and more levels!

Ran into one issue, though. When I tried to open more than one level, the game would crash and I would have to reopen it to play the next level. Here’s a screenshot.

Overall really fun, I completed each level and liked the small detail of randomized main menu characters!

Very innovative idea, why so underrated?

Don't stop working on the game and make more levels and publish a complete and more polished one, it's such a waste of innovation if u didn't continue working on it and deliver the full game, had so much fun with such simple mechanics 🤍

Thank you very much for your comment, it really makes me happy to see comments like this. I love the game jam community and I will deffinetly updated and polish since this version was lacking a ton of things I couldnt add because of the time constraints.

Nice game, I like the randomness of events. Can't wait to see more levels.

I liked this game. The idea was simple but fun.

It was bit easy to cheese by selecting a camera with an enormous field of view, and sadly the game crashed when attempting to load the second level.

Other than that i really missed any audio, it would be nice if there was at least some of it.

Overall this game has potential and I would love to see more levels of it.

I think the idea is great and the application of the concept of rewind is very original!. You included a tutorial and a couple of levels, that was great.  I missed some music and audio, maybe I can help you with that in the future.  I really enjoyed it.

I did music and sound for "What The Hole?"  https://mastro2k.itch.io/whathehole . Could you please take a lok and rate it?  --- Btw, maybe we can Jam together in the future!

Really cool idea! I like a lot the game mechanic and the way you present your game. I only missed some kind of audio with the game. Also got that weird error that just got solved by itself, so not a big deal.

Overall, I liked it a lot! Would appreaciate if you checked out my game :)

The game was fun I like that the killer looked similar to another person and the rewind feature worked perfect in this case. Cool concept, but would loved to have some cool private eye music and maybe up the graphics. All in a a cool game.

The game was pretty fun. But the lack of audio makes it a little stale after awhile. Or is the lack of audio a bug? Anyways great game!

I loved this! On level one I thought I'd nailed it first time,  - but didn't realise clothes patterns were important haha. Think this idea could definitely be developed further! I did get the Invoke Handling error too though when going from the tutorial to level 1, - so I refreshed and went straight to level 1 and it worked. In all good work! Check my game too if you like. Cheers!

This was such a cool idea for the theme! I really enjoyed the game and played each level multiple times. I did run into an issue though if I tried to load another level after playing one without refreshing my browser I would get an error in the browser. Didn't stop me from refreshing and playing it though!

Oh wow that's some cool idea for the theme, well done!
I wish I could swap cameras using keys thought, would be so much easier rather than focusing on using mouse to click on buttons on the opposite side of the screen (on bigger resolutions this action becomes challenging by itself :D)
Overall a great submission!

the tittle crops on the tittle screen (level select), it crashed and there's no music, concept is fun but i belive its more a prototipe than a game, but the fun is making them and hope to see you in more jams.

Developer

You are totally right, I was testing various concepts and wanted to do somehting with pathfinding and random character generation. In the short time I could only come up with that monstruosity LOL, in the original idea you had to review the footage and learn their behaviours, then you would be send to the past to kill the killer before it happened. Just like in the movie Minority Report, hence... the name.

Thanks for your feedback again, if I update the game ill let you know.

Cool idea that fits the theme of the jam very well! In my case, every time I entered a level after completing one the game crashed. I had to restart the game to play the desired level.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, I think the bug has something to do with Unity Web GL, I played your game and its pretty solid. I left a review and rate already. Im actually doing video recording of various games so once I get the video up I can send you the link. The part with the two turrets is mercyless I couldnt get pass them.

Submitted

Yes I saw it :D,  I left a comment with some tips, I forgot to mention when you die you can use 'shift' to rewind and revive, perhaps this is why you  had problems.

Thanks for your honest feedback, I know is not much of a real game yet but i had an interesting idea that I would like to continue working on after this jam is over.

Your game is really good, Im recording my gameplays for this jam and your game really hook me in. The difficulty is way harder than I expected but the quick respawn makes it very addictive.

Kudos and thanks for your feedback, looking forward to play more of your creations.

This game is very entertaining and you have to pay tons of attention to every detail! It's addictive =D It would be better if you could choose which camera view to see, because the crime happens so fast that with just 2 buttons (next & previous) you'll have to replay the footage over and over.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, and you are totally right. Maybe a little map that lets you choose exactly which camera you want to switch to. I didnt have too much time to prototype all but I might keep working on it for a bit longer and update it.

Thanks.

Great idea!

I had a lot of fun with how the game worked, and the guessing mechanic.

My only issue is the camera angles. Most of the time I couldn't get a clear view of the killer!!

Overall a good concept

Rate my game if you want :)
