Cool game, I really liked the art you made for it. The only thing I had issues with was some of the colliders and physics not working properly. Other than that I thought it was great!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
You can rewind time with the time-stone to get around obstacles. Rewinding time also disturbs the dead and makes them come out of their tombs.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote most of the code ourself and made our sprites + used only CC0-type assets to create the game.

Nice game, I like the graphics.
I found difficult to jump and the player sometimes collides on the wall in a strange way when it jumps.. The reload with R is quite hard to remember .
With some little polishing it could be a great game, Good Job.

I like how you implemented the rewind theme to your game. I also loved the art style! Recoil jump was super fun, except it was sometimes inconsistent and harder to jump higher/further. I also found myself often getting stuck around the map.
But still, overall a great game, I had massive fun playing this!

Here is some detailed pros and cons for you.
Pros:
-Love the rewind mechanics
-Really like the shoot to get further mechanics
-The art was clean
-The sounds were fine and feedback was present when enemy got hit
Cons:
- Was really hard to jump from platform to platform as I was getting stuck at every slope or even wall (To fix this just make your character collider into a box and a circle. Id also recommend making it 0 friction as that would just make character fall instead of getting stuck)
-The level design was a bit difficult
-The reloading was not probably necessary as you would have been fine with a very low rate of fire and less boost from it to compensate for the rate of fire. I sometimes found myself forgetting to reload.
-Overall needs some polishing to give it the great feel it deserves.
Overall pretty good game if i say so hah. Hope you dont take this personally and approach this pros and cons with open mind.
If it is not a big bother id ask you to check my game out if possible as that will really help to progress it.

Really great idea but It was hard to play with the character getting stuck to every wall and floor. loved the gun mechanic, always appreciate a good rocket jump.
I like where you were going with this, however I was getting stuck on platforms alot and the controls were a bit slow, but thank you and keep at it!
Pretty good. However, I kept getting stuck to the platforms, and the controls overall were a bit weird (especially on slopes). I also don't get why reload mechanic was added since it doesn't add much to the gameplay other than annoying the player. Something like auto-reload when you touch the ground, or auto reload every few seconds would have been better. Rewind & recoil mechanics were cool.
Two things: I dont know if being stuck on the rocks is a feature or a bug. If it is a bug, you might want to put a Physics Material 2D with 0 of friction. 2: please, add checkpoints.
The recoil mechanic is cool, but I kept getting stuck on platforms at the beginning of the level. Some of which forced me to restart because I couldn't get out. Very nice art though!

We'll definitely take more time to fix things like getting stuck on platforms and stuff for the next game jam, since that's probably the thing that most people struggle with. We sadly didn't really manage to fix it in time without breaking all of the movement systems we had so far lel.

Really nice sprites and sound effect! Had some issues with movement when going near walls.
Super cool game. The idea is well thought out it seems, but as it is right now the game is difficult to control, and the slow moving camera doesn't make it easier. Could definitely see this become a full release with some more work :D
I'm really happy that you liked the idea. We had a lot of ideas that didn't make it into the final game jam release and now we think about making a few more stages, fixing the movement and in general overhauling every aspect of it. We had a desert stage planned that introduced you more in-depth to the controls and the time-stone. We also planned to have a boss fight against Anubis at the end, but we couldn't manage to finish them both in time sadly.
