In what way does your game fit the theme?
Using the rewind ability is a key component of the gameplay. I also included some other time based abilities.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes for the code but not at all on the assets. I got the sprites from a course I took a long time ago, and I got the sound files from some asset store things I got from a humble bundle awhile back.

nice game!
Interesting concept! I like the style of the platformer you made. I'm not sure if it was just me, but jumping sometimes didn't work when I pressed the jump key.
nice little platformer but i think when i collide with the door it brought me back to the checkpoint. good job otherwise :)
Good game but it little hard to control (jump).
Add Coyote Jump. What this means is: you dont need to do a timing perfect jump, if you are 0.1 or 0.2 seconds late you still jump.
The controls are a bit hard, but I like the game!
hey i know these graphics ;) https://guldor.itch.io/platformer
Really fun, but the jumping was a little unresponsive
The game is nice, but jumping and rewinding fell unresponsive most of the times. Good job tough!
*maybe you would also like to play my submission*
I will never again underestimate the value of visual/audio cues. The day after I turned it in I was like "wait, i can just reverse the song and add a grain effect x_x". and thank you very much :D
Nice little platformer! The only thing I thought you could improve is that you can move in mid air. It is a bit hard to calculate you jump ;) Nice work.
If there is anything I learned from this game jam, it's that responsiveness is a key element to any kind of platforming (unfortunately it took me this long to realize). Thank you for the feedback!
The rewind didn't seem to work when I really needed it (trapped behind a door)/ It just didn't do anything at all to hit R.
It also feels a bit awkward for a platformer to not be able to change direction in mid-air, but that's a choice.
Still, very very cute.
I made the booooooold decision of putting a timer on it and not displaying some timer element in the UI. Yeah I'm not much of a platformer gamer myself, but even I felt it lacked a bit of control. For whatever reason my brain was like "hey you can't turn in real life" instead of focusing on what feels best/is most fun for the game. And that door thing was a huuuuuge blunder. I didn't include a way out if the timer ran out x_x
Graphic and sound aren't yours. Although it is a good game.
Yeah I realized I hadn't included proper credits in the description. This was my first upload on this website and first Game Jam so I was pretty nervous and forgot. The credits should be there in the description now though.
neat game. I like the unique idea with media
thank you :D
