I like how you implemented the rewind mechanic, together with the "sucking in" sound, the game feels great. Would love to see some further development.
Interesting
Different take on the theme. It could have been more, but we only had the time we had, so good job. Could see some improvements (had a lot of texture overlapping that decreased the game visuals).
Great idea and visuals.. especially like the gun animations at the beginning when you pick it up. Controls feel nice too. Once the robots come in it is quite creepy trying to hide from them like a stealth-horror game, I'd suggest though if you carry on working on it after the jam that maybe it would be cool if there was some kind of visual clue when they could see you , maybe a stealth meter that goes up quite quickly when their raycast is hitting you with some kind of tense music and then an alarm going off when that meter fills up and intense music as they then start following you for a period of 5 or 10 seconds so you get a chance to get away, if if you collide with them you die. Just my thoughts on it, think it would add to the atmosphere.. thought it was a really good effort, nice one! You can check out and rate my game too if you like, cheers guys!
Game's really intuitive, sounds are really good for a game jam game. The onlty thing I was missing was some feedback when you shoot the robots.
Hi. The visuals were fantastic. The animations were fantastic. The environment/level-design felt really polished and it was fantastic. The game itself, however, was not very good in my opinion and it wasn't completely clear what to do. I just told myself that it's a game about stopping robots from doing bad dance moves so basically that's what I did to win. Theme-wise, I think the game wasn't based on a very good idea because instead of "rewinding bullets into the gun" if you just picked them up, it'd be the same thing except yeah you can't re-use them. I do realise it's a jam game so I know it must've been hard and stressful to put together something fun and enjoyable :)
Other than that, great 3D models and great levels! Best of wishes to all three of you <3
um eh er well its not good and a tad confusing
Hi Jordan
Sweet! Very immersive game, wish it had more levels. Keep it up!
Reminded of Tenet aha !
Well done, good principle and on the theme !
Fun take on the theme!
Really unique idea, would love to see a full game with this mechanic
Nice idea! IT has a lot of potential. More levels would be great! Thanks!
I leave you mine if you want to check it https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/724798
I really like the concept of finding bullets around various rooms and using them to take out enemies. Really wish that there were more levels, the idea was executed excellently but it feels somewhat unfinished from the lack of levels. I would love to see more of this idea in a post jam release. Well done!
Looks very nice. It was fun to play. Great Work! :)
Very interesting take on using the gun as a means to "rewind" the bullets back to the gun. Love it.
Love this concept!! I wish I could have more levels to play!
Check out mine if you have time!
I think the idea has a lot of potential, but I guess the jam time constraints didn't let you finish it. Looking forward to a post jam release if you guys can make it!
this game is absolutely fantastic! its a shame there were so few levels to play. looking forward to more content! Best of Wishes!
Between all the z-fighting, the red dots seen through the walls and the robots that stare at you without apparently doing anything, this makes for a quite confusing game. I think the main mechanic of sucking bullets into your gun (and maybe shooting them at enemies later? Didn't get so far) has a lot of potential. I was impressed by the animations, but confused that the graphics were otherwise not that good? But again, it has a lot of potential.
