Really cool graphics and sound design.

Found it a bit hard to control, especially hitting the needed jump height was really difficult.

That cutscene at the beginning was super spicy. Love that lightning effect, I could really feel the oomph. Actually, I think it would be super cool if the lightning flash happened periodically as you played, with the volume decreased a little. The dark graphics are also super cool, and I really like that super intense music at the end. Really got my blood rushing.

One thing I would absolutely change: Either making double jumping the default, or remove the mid-air jump. It's super confusing not having a double jump, but having a mid-air jump, and I was stuck at a platform that I thought required pixel-perfect jumping until I realized I could jump in mid-air. The solid platforms should be a little brighter, they're a little hard to see with the dark background. I also didn't really feel the effects of the other robots other than the first one, it seems like the first robot gives you a major speed and jump boost and the other robots give you a minor one. I would have increased the default walking speed too, it does feel a little sluggish at the start.

Overall, very cool game, you definitely nailed the atmosphere. I had a lot of fun playing through it to the end.

The level design is sooo great in your game. The animations look really cute too. The finale was very challenging but I did it in the end. Overall a really cool platformer. It would be awesome if you could do a video review for my game on your yt channel. You did great in this game jam!

My god, I wanted to give up at the first gears. Then Ive read there is some boost, so I tried once more. Then the finale ... I so much hate these :-) And after too many attempts, Iam free ... but only with 4 robots. Overall nice platformer with excelent atmosphere and intense gameplay :-)

The simplicity of the art style really lends this game a nice feel! It's a little slow, granted, but that doesn't really detract from the all-round experience. Great work :D

Thanks yeah! The first section is slow and then it speeds up! Perhaps I should of added that earlier!

The game looks super nice, I love the animations, particles, lighting and sounds. In my opinion the player should move a bit faster at the beginning. Also, I really like how you introduce the player to the game, with the fall and thunder.

as always the graphics and visuals are very nice, and i see the nod to blackbird here! i had a slight issue with the respawn and general pace of the game, you move slowly and you have to wait maybe 5+ seconds just to respawn after dying,  the game is fun, so it wouldnt be bad to respawn quicker so i can get back to playing it :)

I've really enjoyed playing this one! The character is lovely and the overall feel and aesthetics beautiful. I loved the details with the rain, particles, hidden walls, electricity etc. The sound is to the point and the gameplay very pleasing. I have only good words to say.. i would love to play more levels in the future.. well played robobro ;)

Man, I really love everything about this game. There is a lot of attention to detail, like the electricity that sparks when bumping into a wall, or the flash of lightning in the background. Great use of visual effects, as well as making the gameplay smooth. This fits the theme perfectly and I love the challenge of navigating through each level. Simply dodging gears and laser beams was more than sufficient for creating difficulty and that simplicity kept me going all the way. Getting stronger every time I found one of my kind felt great and I enjoyed the visual effect of powering up. Not to mention, the music is very fitting and I love how the musical intensity builds as you are reaching the end of the game. I didn't find all of my robo friends upon completion and I love that the game has an awareness of that and lets you know that you can find more if you decide to play again. This is very polished.

I really dig the atmosphere and aesthetic of that one. Unfortunately, the character feels so heavy to me. I would love if he could move faster and smoothlier.
