In what way does your game fit the theme?
All characters must hit the objective at the same time or the crystal won't be powered up (aka lasers are stronger together)

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Only used plugins like DOTween and editor tools

fun idea

Very cool puzzle game. But I sounds are definetly missing. Just a lazer sound would be enough. And more levels please. Also its very polished. I discorvered 0 bugs. I love the fact, that "things" are running around after time. Its annoying but fun!
I think you should develop further on this and release it on steam!

Also i think it would be interesting to have semi-transparent mirrors. And it would be fun, if the "things" fall down, when they are hit by a beam.

I love, that "things" are called "things"

Really cool game. Love the presentation, the visuals, the small indicators, the scene transitions. The puzzles are good and my only complaint with them is that there aren't more of them. Also good use of the theme.

One other issue is that you can just spam the lasers to keep them in place. One suggestion I have is maybe have an item that you put down to make them focus, like food or something, and when it is used up they lose interest and you only have a limited number of these items before you try for lasers. Or put some cooldown on lasers.

Either way I enjoyed playing your game.

Pretty fun game, but I felt like the lasers wandering off was a bit more headache than feature. I was able to keep them in place by mashing space bar ever 3s though. I also ended up dragging a couple of guys through walls to complete some levels which was a bit of a weird (maybe unintentional?) mechanic:

Nice game but bit boring without sound.

Very nice. Clean look and good puzzles. I like the way they wander so it gives you a bit of urgency, but it was very easy to bypass this by just shooting laser continually. That way they never wander and you can take your time.

It looks really nice! Levels are well designed, although I don't like that the little guys start wandering off after a while. Still, lots of fun!

Really nice puzzle game, the visuals of the lasers felt really pleasant to look at and the level designs was great, The music part is a bit unfortunate but it is what it is, it's a gamejam afterall. The glass mechanic was well executed however some puzzles can be done by trial and error just placing the guys in every position possible, i think only 1 or 2 levels were like this though, I think a good idea for games like this is trying to focus more in the enviroment and mirror positions than the characters themselves like a mechanic to rotate the mirrors or move them around aside from the main characters also being able to move and rotate.

Overall really good puzzle game although a bit basic it still holds the essence of these kinds of puzzles. great job.

Yup, it's not immediately obvious, but all the levels were just kinda thrown together in less than 2 hours
One of the first things I wanna do (after adding sounds and music) is make some mirrors rotatables and have actual distraction sources

Thanks for the feedback!

Amazing game, the graphics are really good, the idea is really cool and it's fun. Good job.

The art is good, especially the characters. The puzzle are interesting.

I am not sure that the "distracted characters" mechanic really fits the gameplay in this game but I can see  the potential of this idea if it is developped further.

Sounds effects and music would have made the game feels much better. We were allowed to use premade assets, so it can be quick to do.

Developer (1 edit)

The distraction was going to be more objective back on the drawing board
I had planned to give them personalities so some would be distracted by radios/tvs or just because they wanted to be close to someone in particular (or away)
In any case, life got in the way and I didn't have time to implement that idea or any sounds at all 😅

I'm hoping to keep working on it, so all the feedback helps a lot
Many  thanks!

Really cool concept! I'm glad you added the arrows, but it'd be cool if the models had a more distinct front and back so I could know where they were facing.

Developer

Yeah, back when I modeled the thing I thought the gradient on the texture would be enough to tell back from front, but not even I could tell at a quick glance so I threw the arrow as an emergency solution 🤣
Still not sure how I'll fix it, but I'll have time to think about it

Thanks for the feedback!

Love the mechanics here with a unique challenge where they will move around after a short period of time. Awesome work and design! I made a laser game too hope u can try it out. Also, do u mind sharing how u make the beam glows? Is it a post processing effect?

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks, I really liked your take on the laser concept!

Yup, I used Unity's URP (tho it works on the standard or any RP as well)
All you need is a material with an emission parameter and a bloom post-processing effect
If you want something like the red laser, you just set the emission to red and crank the intensity to something like 5~10
If you activate the HDR boolean on your camera, the material will look white, but the bloom will have the correct color 😁

As I expected a really polished experience the first game when I really say "Oh no no more lvl". The only problem is that there is no music and NO BEAM SOUND (that would be soo cool).

Submitted(+1)

Nice game for the jam and well done for tackling it all by yourself! The visuals are really good and the puzzles for each level are well designed. Music/sounds would have made a big difference from an enjoyment point of view and I'm unsure on how I feel about the 'things' wandering around after you place them, I think it's an interesting idea but maybe could be implemented slightly differently as it feels more like a nuisance than a challenge, although I do like them wandering around before initially being placed as it makes them feel alive :)

Very nice puzzle game though and good implementation, nice work :D

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yeah, originally (and hopefully in the future) the things would get distracted more predictably by having tv's, radios or things of the sort in the map
Had I had the time to implement audio, those objects would've added a lot to the sound design 😌💭

Thanks for the feedback!

Time is always the enemy isn't it :D

You did fantastic in the time frame provided, good luck with future development!

Great puzzles! I really liked the beam effect! Nice work!

Cool Idea, good execution. Very pleasing and fitting visuals. I like the little egoistic personality of the moving robots :D. Well done. Some music would help though.

Nice idea for puzzle game. It's hard, but I like this game. Maybe the waiting time before they move is too longer.
