The art and animation looks good! Well done
Thanks!
Great! Really enjoyed the animation, very responsive and clean. Good job!
Thanks a lot!
Rly nice! Found a bug - when you press pause (esc) you can still move and you dont get dmged by spikes
Oh. Thanks for noting that :D We knew that you can still move but not that you cannot die anymore. :D
Oh yeah, just use time.timescale = 0 for fixing that :D
Really good puzzler/plataformer. The game feels really polished, the art and sounds are really good. I don’t know if it’s just me but the sounds felt like they came out late. Other than that really good job!
I have the same problem on linux but on windows it all feels smooth. Idk why though. ^^ Still thanks for noting and glad you enjoyed our game!
oh man! I died 84 times and i think at least 50 was on "frustration" lvl. Phieww that was hard! Fantastic game guys, this is the game it took me longer than any other game on the jam and i also had much fun.. and frustration. Fantastic combination of puzzle and coordination! 5/5 for sure.. thanks guys i hope we'll see new lvls. Cheers! :)
Thanks a lot! Most people don't play through the whole game in game jams. Thanks for taking the time and glad you enjoyed it :) Also sorry for the frustration level. ^^' It was actually the first level we made to test out what was possible with the mechanics we had then. And 84 is pretty good.
PS: There are some bonus levels accessible through the level selector, but we put them there only because we think they are not as good as the main levels.
a really clean and polished game with great level design that explores the mechanics well
Thank you!
I just see you use stack music, i can make original music and souns if you want, just dm or something!
You have a game! thats i what i think and congraaaats! I really love it and a lot of funn! Thanks for doit so well.
A little appointment if i can:
- The music volumen is low (and i really miss it)
- And some times the graphics reminds me too much to blinding of isaac
But keep it whit the good thins, you bring me a great time whit a polish and funny game,
Cheers and keep on rolling in the free world!!
Thanks a lot! We didn't like a lot of games starting of super loud, but overdid it with making it more quiet. Some people even thought we have no music at all. But well, happens. ^^' Thanks for the kind words!
The levels feel so clean its amazing. The movement feels great and crisp. Idea might be simple but the game is just executed so well.
Thank you for the kind words! :)
Best game of the gamejam so far a lot of thought into the level design, awesome graphics and really inline with the thematic of the game jam. Great job
Please check my game if you have time :)
Thank you! We'll try to check it out later once we have more time. :)
Good conecpt, and nice level design. I've encountered quite an annoying bug which made me restart the level when I finish it and die a second after it. This shouldn't be too hard to fix, and also didn't break my interest in the game.
Well done!
Hmm that's weird. Thanks for noting the bug. And glad you liked it.
I really enjoyed your game! I was really impressed with what you were able to do within a week!
Thanks a lot!
Very cool game, as you probably already know by now with all of the positive comments. Really like the look of it and you got quite a big amount of levels for a game jam. It was a lot of fun to play through. The tutorial was very well done.
But somehow I managed to miss how I could throw people until level 15. I went back to see where the mechanic was introduced. Apparently in level 7. I managed to finish that level without throwing by jumping and switching to the person on top of the human tower while being in the air and quickly getting off. I used the same method in level 12 and really had the feeling it wasn't the intended way, but I didn't know what else to do. In level 15 finally, this method didn't work anymore because I couldn't get high enough so I went back to game page to look for the controls and that solved my problem.
I also found the jumping a little bit hard at times. The air control wasn't quite there and that made me miss a jump more often than I'd liked.
But overall great game that you can definitely be proud of :)
I see. Thanks for the feedback. Maybe we should have made it possible to review all the introduced mechanics in the options. Or make sure that you can not finish the levels where they are introduced without using the new mechanic. ^^
Also glad you liked it!
This is a pretty good one. An impressive number of levels for a game jam. My main feedback though is that the levels can feel a bit tedious or specific. For example, there are a lot of small and somewhat obvious things you have to do to reach the end, and often the levels feel like a collection of those. In puzzles (to me at least), it's generally better to have each level have its own "catch", or "seeming impossibility", and then a solution that communicates an interesting idea that makes you go "ooohhh that was clever". The solutions generally shouldn't depend on new information, but just seeing the given information in a new and interesting way.
That being said, this is still a cool game. Graphics and music set the mood nicely, and it's clear you guys put effort into this. I like how when one character dies they all fall, that's a cute little detail. And it was fun to learn the mechanics and apply them. I also like the fact that the levels teach you the mechanics as you go, rather than just putting text in the description or the start of the game, like a lot of other games.
Thanks a lot for your honest feedback and glad you liked it! You are definitely right. We probably also overused some more platformer directed mechanics like the timed blocks at the later part of the game. They don't fit as much for a puzzle game in hindsight.
Awesome jam game! Well executed with demonstrations and tutorials and fit the theme really well. The music is also really chill and nice! Great job!
Thank you! Thats nice to hear.
The gameplay is good but its kind of hard to see the characters.
Thanks for the feedback. We kind of tunnel visioned there. We wanted to change that in the beginning but then forgot about it. ^^' Also glad you liked the gameplay.
Hey! I really loved the game! All the mechanics felt really good. (Added to my list of favorite games :D)
I just did something that I'm not sure that I was supposed to: I dropped the player almost imediatly after dropping the box and the box just stopped there. I imagine the box was supposed to fall to the bottom
Yeah we had kind of a hard time with rigid bodies and made quite the hacky solution for this. Ends up not fully working as we want it but good enough for a jam and the mechanic. ^^' Also thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoyed the game! :)
Art is nice, very cool to see how you design the stage alongside the tutorial.
Thank you for the kind words! :)
I loved the art :D so cool, and the colour scheme is also so nice :) game is fun to play and I like the pressure plate mechanics :D good job
Great to hear!
Very Nice game, i really liked how the levels evolved and the solution to put it all together in the same screen.
Glad you enjoyed it!
