Most of the character art was done by my friend Jaylene and the music by my girlfriend Elena.
Some background assets were taken from free asset stores online.

That was a very entertaining and humorous game. The monkey sound effects were my favorite part of the game, and the graphics and music really tie in together well. I really enjoyed the fast-paced gameplay, and it's fun growing more powerful and seeing all those banana projectiles fly around.
One thing I'd change is to make the collection area for the monkeys bigger, or make it so that you get a monkey if any of your monkeys come into contact with it. I would also add a health bar for the boss and some death or explosion particles for when it dies, since right now the game ends really abruptly.
Great job on the game, I had a lot of fun playing it!
I'm rating 5-star Audio for those sound effects.
The game was very nice, simple but entretaining, sadly I don't know how to use the key so my monkey army can't continue with their conquest :(
you need two keys! One from the left and right. Should've made it more obvious, sorry :( But I'm glad you enjoyed it!!

Really nice little game concept, I really enjoyed the enemy designs
I loved the 8bit jungle style art and the music also fit that jungle theme really well. Very pleasant to listen to and watch, and the movement and combat was nice and smooth too. My only complaint would be I wish the pickup range of the monkeys was a little bit bigger and i kept missing them. The sandbox mode was really fun to mess around with too. I did have a bug on my second run through of the game I picked up both keys and the UI said i had 4 keys, but the boss room didn't open so I couldn't test out my 500 monkeys on the boss
So glad you enjoyed the game! I think I know why you encountered that bug, and I wish I could fix it so you could try your 500 monkeys on him! If you still want to test out your 500 monkeys on the boss, go straight to the bossroom without collecting any keys to have more than 2, that should be a workaround. Have fun, I'm really glad you enjoyed it!!! Hopefully I get to work on this more in the future.

Love the concept! Because there is little to pick on:
- The keys don't unlock the door, the door just goes away when you have both. So it was a little confusing.
- Bananas are thrown for damage, but also represent your health. But I guess apes just really like bananas.

This game looks and sounds awesome, and excellent use of the theme! I especially love the firing noise :)
My only issue is that when I was shooting the controls didn't feel very responsive since it sometimes didn't seem like I was firing anything.

Very funny! I really liked the graphics and sounds. The idea for the game is very good, and the monkey theme it's nice. The gameplay felt a bit chaotic for me, like I didn't feel in control or wasn't comfortable with how the action took place, I would personally make fights a bit more clear and planned, but I understand if that's not what you went for. Very good one!

Very well done! I love the little monkey art, and the constant throwing of bananas is a nice touch! An improvement that would be nice is if any of your monkeys touch a monkey they get added, not just if touched by your main monkey. Other than that, great work on sound and art and unique gameplay!

Yes, ape together strong! Only suggestion from me is to add some illustration to the UI such as icon for range, rate of fire, damage and keys, but other than that, ape together strong!
