In what way does your game fit the theme?
Not only do player bullets hurt the player, but after 20 seconds, all bullets swarm after the player until 10 seconds are up. This creates for some chaotic situations!
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the code was written by one member of our team and the graphics were made by the other! However, the music used in "Robot Escape" was taken from an asset pack who we credited in our game's description.

The art looks amazing and the game is fun too. It sure was chaotic
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice game! good job!
Thank you playing!
Nice game! Kinda wish the player moved a bit faster maybe.
Thank you for playing! I agree, the move speed was a setting I set and then never touched afterward. Don't know why it never occurred to me!
bouncing bullets, and then homing bullets, are great ideas for this jam.
Controls were easy to use, and it was quick into the action.
Did find a bug where if i fired my gun to close to an enemy, i couldn't fire anymore, think I had a similar thing in my own game whilst building it.
Great job on completing your first jam with this fun game, well done!
Bullethell is the most obvious interpretation of the theme, but the idea with your own bouncing bullets was very cool. Also the following bullets really get the theme.
Sounds and music also included, so all in all a good polished game for a Jam :)
Ooh, checkpoints, very fancy! You can tell a lot of thought/good planning went into this game, really polished for something made in a week.
Thank you for the kind words! This was our first game jam and, while we don't think it was perfect by any means, we proud of what we were able to make!
A really amazing game liked every thing the audio is amazing too, just wished I can dodge bullets with other bullets
Thank you for playing! And interesting suggestion! I think it would make for a cool mechanic if the player could shoot bullets flying around... I'll have to think on that!
Great game! I enjoy playing it the bullets chasing you is a nice way to create chaos
Good work keep making games!
Thank you, Ismael LB! This was our first ever game jam and we are excited to continue developing. Hope the same for you!
This is really cool. I like that the bullets and movement are a bit slower than a typical "bullet hell" game. Usually I prefer a gamepad binding for twin-stick shooters like this, but mouse worked well for this speed and provided great precision. It's satisfying to hide around a corner and watch bullets hit the wall. The battery placements are much appreciated as well. :) I only have minor quibbles - e.g. it would've been nice if the HUD (battery level, timer) were semi-transparent. But overall, this is amazing. Great art, great core mechanic.
Gamepad binding didn't even cross my mind! My apologies! I usually use Unity's New Input System, which I would've added gamepad support with it, but I decided to forego it for simpler options. The idea to make the HUD semi-transparent is a fantastic idea. Wish I would've thought of that!
I totally hear you on the New Input System and simpler options. I'm new to Unity in general, but [on my own game] I was struggling to capture touch coordinates with the new input system. So after a bit of Googling, I just wimped out and read mouse coordinates directly. That's what v1.1 is for, I guess. :)
Ahh I just wanted to move a bit faster so badly. But still a wonderful game!
One commenter suggested adding a dash mechanic. I think that would've allowed the player to have more movement options especially during the bullet swarm. Thank you for playing!
Love the concept, I was pleasantly surprised when all projectiles starting swarming me, great job.
Glad you liked it!
I enjoyed this game, I liked the bullets having a timer before chasing after the player, it was satisfying to get chased by a bullet then lead it into an enemy. If you wanted to improve, some form of score system would be nice. Overall, fun game!
Thank you for the idea! We actually had a score system based on how many enemies you defeated, but for some reason, I took it out. I guess at the time I felt that it wasn't necessary, but looking back, I think it would've added another layer of gameplay and competition.
It's really fun and it has nice graphics. Great job!
Thank you! Glad you had fun!
Really fun game, The audio and visuals were great. The game would have been perfect if there was a something like a shield which can be used to protect the robot when all the bullets are flying towards the it.
Great idea! Thank you for the feedback. I think the shield would have really helped!
Really fun! It was really clever to make the player bullets damage you! Also i wasn't expecting the bullets to go after me, that part was really scary haha, to make the game perfect i think i would've added a dash or something similar to have something more to dodge the bullets! (I lacked that in my game too). But overall it was a really good game :))
I didn't even think of that! That's a great idea because it gives the players a way to escape bullets during the swarm time. Thank you for the feedback!
Really fun and chaotic! Excellent job!
Thank you, Woodman! Glad you enjoyed it!
Really creative idea with the taking control of bullets. Love the art to
Thank you! This was our artists' first game project! I think he did pretty well.
Really nice graphics and the fact that bullets swarm towards the player forces them to think strategicly about when to shoot and approach enemies. In my opinion the game was a little bit too hard and more checkpoints would have been nice. I also wish the player was a little bit faster to make it easier to dodge bullets.
Thank you! The difficulty was a challenge. When we originally play tested the game halfway through the jam, it was so difficult I couldn't even make it past the first few rooms. It's come a long way, but still has much room for improvement. Thank you for playing!
I hope it was a little easier but everything else was amazing and mainly I liked the idea that your bullets can hurt yourself
Thank you! I'm sure it's been done before, but I have never played a game where that is a mechanic. So I thought we'd try it out!
