In what way does your game fit the theme?
the controls changing are chaotic for the player
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
yes all my art is made by me and my code

While messing with controls certainly makes it chatoic, it also felt kind've frustrating and I found myself repeteadly dying so that I could get a better control scheme. However, I really liked the visuals and sound of the game, and when I could figure out the control scheme it controlled well!
Really chaotic! This was a lot of fun, only thing is that the attacks are a bit clunky and slow. The idea is really innovative and fits the chaos theme perfectly! Good job!!
Very interesting idea messing with the controllers haha made it hard to play and felt chaotic, I would say the attack could use more range but the game was fun :D
It's really hard to play!
I think there's a special place in hell for people that mess with player controls. :P
I couldn't get to far but I see what you did there, how chaotic.
- Nice job on the art work.
- I found the attack didn't work too well for me. Maybe it wasn't responsive enough or the attack range was too short?
If you have the time I would like to get your feedback on my game as well.
Very cool idea, a little frustrating haha but actually fun to play :D
Also hope you can rate our game https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1177206
The game was quite frustrating not simply because the controls kept changing but also because the attack range was so short and also attacking was so inconsistent. I don't know if the game was eating inputs or there was also a random delay between attacks but it constantly wouldn't attack when I tried to do it.
A nice idea overall though.
Nice sweet game. Well done for submitting.
Nice take on the theme! You can go infinitely higher on the mushrooms, and I went super high up, and then clipped through the ground. Besides that I enjoyed this game and it's fun to play.
that was "intentional" for the chaos theme
Good game! well done!
The messed up controls drove me mad. Overall a pretty good entry. Nice job
Besides the attack range mentioned by a lot of people I have a point on your pixel art:
It looks more fitting if you do either always outlines or never.
The swapping controls mechanism was nice and a lot harder than I imagined when brainstorming wiht that idea in the beginning^^
Very cool idea and looks good. The game would do better with a bigger range for attack. Also the changing of the controls is fun to have to deal with, having to learn each time, very enjoyable and chaotic!
Attack range could have been higher, but overall I thought that this was a good entry. Very pleasant art!
the control chaotic change is good and challenging and frustrating all and all good game
Really liked the idea of the game, the controls changing after every dead is a good way of keep the game aways hard, even if you learn your controls in one run, the next one will be completely diferent, good work!
That was fun, the inverted keyboard drove me crazy haha
High quality artwork, and a very creative use of the theme! I found that if I twist my arms around the keyboard I can make logical sense of the controls! It is very difficult to play, and the mushroom part scared me a lot. Thank god you can wall jump!
Imagine if the controls changed every single restart!
My only criticism would be that the attack range is very small, it's very difficult to actually hit enemies and I ended up just jumping over them.
I like the visuals of the game and the idea. but in practis the idea is very frustrating to actualy play. However it does fit the theme quite well so I can see where your coming from.
