pretty cool atmosphere! my only nitpick is that the mouse icons are a little confusing to me.

Really cool! The tutorial was really helpful and I thought each dream was really cool. I liked the chest puzzle a lot and the dice puzzle, although I had a hard time manipulating the dice for some reason. I got caught up trying to arrange the dice based on the pentagram on their face until I found the hint. I still do not know if the pentagrams were supposed to be the solution or not since it was kind of hard to tell if there were different designs or not. The voice acting was really good and so was the music. A really good amount of polish went into this and it shows!

Really well made, unfortunately 3d first person games do make me dizzy so I gave up while finding the second item.

Both music and graphics feels really good. You definitely put lots of works into this.

Thanks for playing! Sorry to hear that you were unable to finish, but we appreciate you giving it a go anyway.

I really loved the theme, our game is somewhat similar it starts in a child's bedroom and runs away from the monster under the bed.  https://qdwazar.itch.io/night-fright

Awesome entry guys! I think the theme is implemented really well and is really involved in the game overall.

Picking up and rotating items is always super satisfying so I'm really happy you used this in a puzzle too. Also, loved the room layout and the overall design! Was memorable and nicely designed. I appreciated the "demonic objects" always being the same ones in each dream sequence since there's no visual queue as to which item is "demonic" and relies on a subtle audio queue that I managed to catch early on.

Music was also used in a great way, alternating from the more "upbeat" or "relaxed" daytime sequences and the "eerie" and "trance" dream sequences really helped to differentiate the two and add more suspense.

It was great to see some levels implement an "escape room" approach to finding some of the objects as this added a layer of complexity the game needed at the right time, and also forced me to use the controls I'd learned during the well crafted tutorial.

As mentioned, I think the tutorial is implemented in a great way, making use of the designed mechanics and giving the player an unlimited amount of time to play around with the controls. The tasks in the tutorial are also a great way to get the player using all these mechanics without it feeling like a "checklist" .

I must say, I struggled on the first puzzle, mainly because I'd totally forgotten I could rotate images while holding them! I think this might be because I'm a little dumb, but maybe partly because I hadn't needed to use this mechanic before, not even in the tutorial.

A couple of things I noticed that I wanted to put down as some light feedback!:

- I found that some items I needed to crouch to pickup and some others that I could pickup while standing, which confused me a little.

- The hint system was a great touch, but would have loved if this could have been a repeatable hint, as sometimes I didn't catch it the first time, but couldn't replay it.

And just to wrap up, I wanted to highlight a couple things that stood out to me as highlights as it's always the little details I appreciate the most! :

- I thought the "cleansing" of the objects was a great effect and very satisfying!

- Rotating picked up objects is a highlight for me anytime it's implemented as it always makes the items feel that much more real. So great job adding that in, it looked really polished.

- The blurred spinning background on the main menu is a great little touch that added that much more to the scene and paired nicely with the rest of the UI elements.

Again, great work all!

Never thought I would play a game where I would tidy up my room but ,weirdly, I enjoyed it haha.

The graphics are pretty cool, there's a lot of details which is an achievement for a 7 day game. Good job on that.

Wish there was some control implementation for AZERTY keyboards though. I had a hard time navigating... but I could have changer my keayboard too so my bad as well.

I agree with other comments saying that some puzzles are really hard. Some more clues might help fixing that.

My team and I would appreciate it if you could try out and rate our game as well:

I love the atmosphere and the visuals. The gameplay is interesting, as these tasks were simple but it was fun to play around with the environment. Personally, I find that the voiced dialogue wasn't clear enough, but that could just be me. Overall, its a really enjoyable game, great work!

First I did not find the second item during the first dream because I thought the teddy bear was the one talking lmao. Nice game overall, rated it :)

An interesting game, I thought the graphics were real cool and enjoyed the sound effects as well. Over all really polished I'm impressed! I eventually had trouble finding objects and got pretty stuck but I had fun none the less!

Great graphics and atmosphere, gameplay was simple but fun. Only complaint is the mouse sensitivity was too low for me, a slider would have been great. Other than that well done!

Really atmospheric game. I liked the graphics and the tasks. Great work!!!

Really cool game. The only main concern is the game relies on guesses too much. Especially in the puzzles about combinations. (Got stuck at cubes, because I have no idea where the combination is. And also I did find picking objects up finicky.

Developer(+1)

Did you try using the hints button in the pause menu? Thanks for the feedback, there are clues and answers to the combinations in every level but they are difficult to find. Thanks for playing :)

Submitted(+2)

The hints seemed to be voice only, and more importantly they only said the hint once. As such it was hard to use them.

Really cool game!! Had a lot of fun!

The first impressions were great! I did giggle a few times when the monk choir started setting in and the pentagrams started appearing. What a twist! I did feel a little uneasy in the beginning and the duration and twists of the game took me by surprise. Also, a great hint system that I used a few times. Also thanks for not *really* jump scaring me (I had a feeling that cat was gonna do something) and simply keeping the suspense instead - much greater effect.

Feedback wise the collision on your objects seemed a little off for triggering the highlight/triggering pickup so I had to search a little around the object to see where to press for picking up the object.

Although thanks for the great experience!

An interesting game! Kudos for providing a Linux build. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go to bed after succeeding with the other tasks - no matter what I did, I couldn’t interact neither with the bed nor with the dreamcatcher. Anyways, looks like a fun game, good job!
