--- About the Game ---
Rougelite adventure game. Reality has been shattered. Fight enemies to collect reality shards to restore things. Four enemies to fight plus a boss!
--- How to Play ---
Click on the circles in the overworld to fight the next enemy.
In combat, roll dice at the start of your turn with the energy you have. Dice will come out of your bank. Hover over the dice in the tube to view the potential dice you can roll.
After rolling, drag and drop the dices into the tiles and then click on the rune to activate them. Different tiles have different effects, hover over the runes to read the description.
Once you have no more energy, you can end your turn and wait for the enemy to complete their turn. You can end your turn early to stockpile on energy.
--- About the Authors --
We are a team of three - two unity programmers (one does music too) and a graphics artist. Our team has interest in continuing the project so your feedback would be appreciated!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all of the code, music, and graphics were design from our team.

Great art, impressive! Mechanism is also interesting as runes can give you a lot of options in the future.
As I can see you want to continue the game, maybe UI could be improved: description of each rune shown clearer or maybe have them completely different so we can clearly distinguish which ones are for deffend or attack based on colours, for instance.
Great work done anyway. Congrats!
Thanks for playing the game! I'm glad you liked the art and found the game mechanics interesting! Good ideas on how to make the runes more differentiable. I think UI is the immediate thing that needs the most improvement, so the specific ideas are really appreciated! Thanks for the feedback and kind words!
Thanks for reviewing and thanks for the feedback! We'll for sure be making these UI changes, solid points
The UI elements are very small and it's difficult to see what rune does what. Same thing with the buttons and the dices. But the Game seems really intrusting, and the art is amazing
Thanks for playing our game! We struggled a little with changing the game from it's original resolution to match the web browser resolution, but the advice is really helpful. The game would definitely benefit from reactive sizing and and options to scale all the ui elements to the size the player wants. I'm glad you found it interesting and liked the art, we appreciate the feedback!
Very fair points. I'm hoping to make a much more dynamic and scalable UI. Thanks for playing!
great game! pretty interesting combat system, my only nitpick is that some buttons dont look like buttons at all.
Hey thanks for playing our game! I'm glad you liked it and found it interesting! If you've got time to come back and respond, could you let us know which buttons specifically you think could use improvement? Thanks so much for the feedback, it's helpful and appreciated!
mainly the attack/skill buttons, I say this because in the first few turns I thought that I should just put the dice in the slot and end the turn then the character would execute the attacks, maybe it is because I just played disgaea. the end turn also don't look much like a button but the text make it obvious.
not sure why I didn't say it before lol
All good! Thanks for the specifics, it's very helpful!
Thanks for taking time to review the game! Yeah, that's a very valid nitpick. We'll work on making a more friendly UI!
The art and the music are very good! Great job, the gameplay feels a little clunky, but with some polish the idea is very interesting this could be taken far, overall fun experience, great job :D
Thanks for playing our game and giving us some feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the art and music and that you see the potential in the game!
Yep, pretty clunky game play. Hoping to smooth it out as we have more time to work on the project. Thanks for checking it out!
man, the art is amazing, & the music is pretty great!
ALTHOUGH I have to say :
Yeah… I had no idea what I was doing, I was just randomly pressing buttons & I kept on winning each round, & I am slightly confused why.
but a pretty good game 5/10
Hey thanks for checking out our game! I completely agree the game is lacking in sufficient UI/UX, tutorial, and thorough enough explanations. So definitely with you on that point. I'm glad you liked the art and music and thanks for leaving us with a review and feedback!
I hear you on that on man, a tutorial is much needed. Thanks for playing!
np :D
The art is DELICIOUS, and the music and gameplay and idea are simply brilliant. Can't wait for you guys to develop this into a full game.
Thank you so much for playing the game and leaving us with the kind words! All three of us are interested in continuing the project, so I'm hopeful a full game can become a reality one day :)
Thanks! Hopefully we can give you updates on project progress!
The game mechanics look very interesting!
You guys are on to something! Good Job!
Thanks for playing and leaving us with the feedback! I'm glad you see the potential in the game!
Thanks for trying it!
Aw shoot the exponential die crashed my game.
The game is gorgeous btw.
I like that the runes add more depth to the simple system. The status rune and the exponential rune gave me the most reason to stockpile dice. I wish I could block the double damage rune. Heal die seems busted.
The loading screen needs a progress bar, or a spinning wheel so at least I know the game didn't stop.
Multi Attack should say 6's don't work.
I wish the I knew what choices I was making in between levels.
Random Thoughts: I think it'd be cool to lock in 1's to give +1 to all effects or something. Maybe you can only use a rune multiple times if you use a straight. Or some runes require different amounts of dice (Pairs, straights, odds)
I don't know if I won? But I selected 2 and then I've been loading for 5 minutes. Cool game, I'd love to check it out later.
Dang, really sorry you bumped into some of the gamebreaking bugs we have. We unfortunately didn't have time to playtest all the runes, we added them in last day and time was getting down to the wire. But I'm super excited you tested out all the options! I definitely think the heal rune is busted too haha! You've got some great, really specific feedback in here about game balancing and just quality of life fixes, it's very appreciated, and I think you've got really solid ideas on how to improve the game. Thanks so much for taking the time to play our game so thoroughly and to leave a really well thought out review!
Least I could do. You all are awesome.
Also I forgot to note, I really liked how player weakness interacted with the heal die.
Take care!
Wow! Thanks for all your feedback! We're hoping to continue work on the project, so all your thoughts are much appreciated. Sorry the game broke on you!

The graphics have impressed me the most! really nice game and IDK how you've done it in a week with the animation and all, also the animations are cool.
would really appreciate feedback and rating on my game too ;)

I'll definitely check your game out!
Our artist worked super hard this week to get all designs, art, and animations done, so I'm glad you like them! Thanks for playing and letting us know what you think!
Im glad you liked it! Ill be sure to check out your game
Nice idea! :) I like your graphics a lot!
I'm glad you liked it! Our artist worked really hard on the project. Thanks for playing and letting us know what you think!
Thanks for playing :)
The game is great, I like this kind of clearance game very much, but it is a little difficult for beginners to get started, you can also play my game and give us some suggestions
I'm glad you like the game! I agree it's got a tough start because of a lack of guiding UI/UX and tutorial. Thanks for playing it and giving us feedback, I'm definitely going to check yours out!
Thanks! I agree, maybe a tutorial would help
Woah. Insane graphics, even the idle animation was breathtaking! Loved the dice mechanic too!
Im glad you enjoyed it :) thanks for playing!
So happy you liked it! Thanks for playing and letting us know :D
really great graphics, I'm not used to type of games so there was a confusion in the beginning but overall really nice job!
Completely agree that a more guiding UI/UX is needed, and tutorial. We appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing our game, hope you enjoyed it!
Thanks for playing!
Designs are very good,,,
no hit feedback
I'm glad you liked the designs! We would have loved to include a system for vfx and sfx feedback for actions, but unfortunately didn't have time to get to that. Thanks for playing the game, and giving us your feedback on it!
Thanks for the input and thanks for playing! SFX is something we wanted to get in there, but ran out of time
Real Slay the Sprire vibes. Loved the dice mechanic, wish I could finish it but the last rune caused my game to crash :(
Otherwise, was a lot of fun!
Ah, sorry you hit a gamebreaking bug. The game is unfortunately littered with those in it's current state. I'm glad you liked the dice mechanic and had fun despite the issues! We all love Slay the Spire and other deckbuilders and resource management games, and definitely tried to draw inspiration from those sources. Thanks for playing and giving us feedback!
Bummer it crashed :( We were throwing some last minute runes in there and had 0 time to play test those. Thats on us! Thanks for playing
Would love to have a little bit more details of which rune do what since I got a little bit confused.
But overall it's nice to play.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you had a good overall experience with the game. The feedback is appreciated on rune details. More complete information on how things work is definitely needed.
Thats a fair point. Initially we wanted to make a rune symbol for each action, but we ran out of time and had to make it work. Thanks for playing!
Runed Reality has a lot of depth to it and I'm surprised you have managed to pull it off with a team of three.
It's a shame that it is not the genre I usually play so I had some problems understanding it at the start. Though, I really appreciate the art and the UI design. Good job!
Thanks for playing and giving us some feedback! If we could do it over, we definitely would focus on a tutorial and more guiding UI/UX. I'm glad the art and design stood out to you! Our artist worked really hard on design, sprites, and animations
Thanks for the kind words! Thanks for playing!
A really cool and unique concept, got a bit confused at the beginning, took me a while to get the hang of it, I can tell a lot of work went into this. Enjoyed the game overall. fantastic work!
Thanks for playing! The game definitely needs either more developed UX/UI or an outright tutorial. We're happy you enjoyed it and appreciate the feedback!
Thanks for playing!
The graphics are cool but the game play is too complicated for a game jam game. I appreciate the effort that went into it though. The monsters are well designed and the music is fitting.
Fair point. We realized way to late we had far too much scope. Thanks for looking at it!
Thanks for playing and giving feedback! I agree we went too big with our scope for a game jam. I'm glad you liked the monsters and found the music fitting!
Straightforward playthrough and not difficult to learn. Its not clear though when I would use a basic rune instead of a healing rune as they both seem to do equal damage.
Thanks for playing and giving feedback! Yeah good point there, we didn't have enough time to expand on some of the runes
Thanks for playing and giving feedback! I would definitely have liked to have planned deeper strategy and progression for the game, but we're hoping to continue working on the project!
