How does you game fit the theme?
The whole game is a play, making the events that take place not actually happening, Also a character has a fake identiy

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code, but the art and music is made by friends

two things i like about the game the most: the art, especially the details in the rooms, and the fastpaced gameplay. It's really nice for such an adventure game to quickly go whereever you want and even the curtain is very fast and nice to look at, so it doesn't get boring. Well designed on this part! :)

Wow, that story took a particularly dark turn at the end for something that seemed so upbeat and cute :') I liked the art style and particularly appreciated the curtain animation that played when you transitioned between scenes - that was a nice touch. Two suggestions I have that might improve it:

- I think it could have done with a few quests running concurrently rather than a single sequence of puzzles that each trigger the next. This would give the player a greater challenge as they'd have to focus on the solution to multiple quest lines at once.

- The dialogue could have been improved slightly by making characters that have given you something say something different when you next talk to them. It was slightly jarring when one character told me she'd give me a rose after having already given it to another character.

- A small UI indicator to show you what items you were currently holding.

Nice game though - good work!

Thank you! I would have loved to add those touches, but I didn't have time with everything else going on during the jam

Wow! the game took a dark turn quick! I was thinking in joke about calling it “gossip, the game”… but now i think it is “CSI Sprouce Town”.

Great job, specially with the music!

Please, play my game too, if you have the time!

I would love to hear a soundtrack with more variety - but besides that - cute game! :))

The game is really cool, I love the art!

I just rated your game, maybe you can do the same on mine ^_^

Quite an interesting game. Apart from the suggestions that others here have mentioned, one thing you can do is add borders to the scenes where going to the edge of the screen would not take you to another place.

Loved the game. I would like to have some kind of little inventory to see what items I have. That would have been great. But overall loved it and great art style!

Cute art and a neat concept. It's kinda hard to keep track of what I've done since I can't see what items I have. Good work though

Very neat story, was very surprised by the turn it took!

Overall worked well, some suggestions would be make it more clear the things that can be interacted with, more sounds and animation, and a more clear starting goal. It was a little strange just being dropped in but I was able to follow along once I got into it.

That poor Lexie...

The mystery was quite good I was quite intrigued to find out how it all fitted together. Really enjoyed the play theme it had and the art work was very well made. I would be interested in seeing more mystery's surrounding this town in the future. I think what would of been good to add is a little inventory box to keep track of your current items so you don't forget what you have.

Lovely little game ! The curtains is a nice trick to transition between scenes :)

I really liked the curtain animation, it was very satisfying

Cool Game! I like the art style it was reminiscent of old tv shows like South Park lol. I think a criticism could be that some text to show what to do could help. Like a dialogue box in the top that tells you what an NPC told you to do! Otherwise awesome =D

Cool little town and characters. I'm living in the old mans basement forever to keep him company :)

A pretty good game although slightly too easy loved the relaxed feeling of the game.

Only weird thing was the kid didn't know about his mom

It was very cute although I couldn't figure out what to do after I got into the basement

I didnt know what i have to do. Could you please explain me? So i can vote.

Your meant to just talk to random NPC's and it will tell you what to do, not designed very well.

Nice game! I found the candy bag but failed to find the ball one guy was talking about, and sadly I couldn’t find out whether there’s anything else in the game to do :( Anyways, good job!
