It was fun. The way you implemented the lighting system and how you provided a dev log explaining how you did that was commendable. And the puzzles were fun (but if the game moved a bit faster, it would be more fun).

And I did not understand what the ending was. Were you saying that the pig was not real? To begin with, why this fascination with pigs, I am just curious.

I love this game's aesthetic and atmosphere! I had a ton of fun solving the puzzles, and I love how the game doesn't hold your hand too much to let you figure it out on your own. The ending was very lovely too! Awesome work!!

Great game, it reminds me of portal and looks awesome! I accidentally clipped trough the wall where I got the flashlight by walking into it side wards, ending up outside the level. The effect of the holes is really cool!

Nice game! I really liekd the graphics!

Hi! Can you give me a hint what to do in the starting location? :) I really wanted to play more but I feel that I stuck. I pressed interaction on almost everything and nothing happened :/

Developer

Hey! yeah sure! The lamp has two pins coming out the sides of it. Try pushing the pins to make the lamp rotate with your body. It's heavy so the rotation is quite slow :)

Love the weird atmosphere! It runs great in the browser and the FX looks great.

nice mechanics, love puzzle concept! Impressive works in 1 week !

This was a really cool game, I was stuck trying to get through the wall after you get the flashlight. I really want to know how it ends but I couldn't get past that point. The portal was open but I couldn't walk through it. I'm curious how you managed that effect, and dealt with the collisions. What engine did you make this in as well? Awesome particle effect too!

Developer

Hey thanks for playing! Yeah there is a bug in the end. You should be able to get through if you walk backward. It's a bug that happens because the flashlight is interfering with the other lamp :)

Nice experience,

I like the idea and the mechanic introduced,

Great job!

I loved this game.  The core concept, the puzzles, the realism of the graphics, the pig paintings on the walls, the marvellous absurdity of the ending, the oink sounds in background.

And you made all of this in one week?!
Just WOW.

P.S. I second the report of the bug in the last room: the only way I was able to return to the cage room is by walking backwards, for some reason.

Thank you so much!
And thanks for the bug testing! :D Sounds like the flashlight is interfering with our collider logic. Will take a look

Fun game! Nice puzzles, and a flashlight was a cool touch. There’s a small problem with the last room: I’ve found the weight and put it in place, turned the bit light towards the pig room, but couldn’t walk through. I rotated the light here and there until eventually I was able to get through, but it felt like a bug.

Anyways, nice game, good job!

Thank you!
I think the bug is a result of the interference from the flashlight. Thanks for reporting we will look at it :)

That was wild - definitely a surreal experience!

What a great trip... I really like the mechanic and how it fits the theme, and I'm impressed you were able to whip up such a nice shader for it. The turning lights could move a little bit faster but all in all an excellent entry and I hope the pig lives a long and healthy life.

Beautiful game! I felt like I was playing Portal))

The theme incorporation on this was great! Thought it was cool how you couldn't walk through the levels unless they were lit. Thank goodness our friend the pig is free

Great Game!

Great game! I loved the shader used for disappearing walls and the concept of the light showing the way! :))

Thanks! If you're interested in how it's done I made a short post on it https://jonasmortensen.itch.io/oink/devlog/352582/how-we-did-the-holes

Cool mechanics and the pig was a cutie patoody! Nice job!

I really like the concept and it matches perfectly the theme. Good game overall :)

Really good game. It does feel close to portal due to reliance on buttons, cubes and doors (holes in the wall) for puzzles. Also the pig should have some animation, otherwise it looks a bit odd.
