How does you game fit the theme?
I let the player do special things by removing the word "not" from statements (e.g. "you can not pass"). At the end of the game, you win by removing "not" from "It is not real."
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, but I credited the original asset creators, and almost all of the content was made by me (especially the code).

Love the audio, cute premise, the frog animation is super cool.
Great game and that audio just wants me to never finish, too good. Great job!

Fun premise. The long jump feels good to use, although it's easy to overshoot it and fall off a platform.
The green text in the top right is sometimes hard to see based on what it's overlaying. Having an outline or text box would have helped.
Having a shadow below the player when they're in the air would have been nice for lining up jumps. Checkpoints for the last level would have been nice too; it's long enough that it gets frustrating when you fall halfway through and have to start over. Sound effects for hopping and jumping could have added a lot.
Great stuff, and quite a challenging platformer! The frog's physics took some getting used to, but after a while I think it felt pretty smooth (minus some slippery jumping). I also thought the music was weirdly fitting, and I especially liked the frog's head-bopping animation that synced with it. My biggest issue was the mouse-controlled camera, which became a little difficult to control while moving. But otherwise, well done on a cool game!
Controlling the frog was pretty cool, I thought it felt pretty good. Theme implementation is a bit of a stretch lol. Actually using the mechanic was effective and fun though, pausing the platforms with a button is basic but fun and versatile. Good job o7.
I'm so glad you had fun! I don't necessarily disagree that this application of the theme is a stretch, but that's not really a bad thing imo. Most of the games revolve around a literal object that isn't real, so I figure this game shakes it up a bit.
Thanks so much for playing!
Nice little game!
My main problem with the game is the controls, it feels like you move to fast and the fact that when your just moving around it looks like your jumping but your not actually jumping is very weird and kind of confusing.
Another thing is I love the main mechanic were you switch realities but I think you could have used it more (maybe you did in the later levels I could not make there because of the controls). The mechanic may have worked better if it had some more puzzle-ish uses, rather than press a button and you can now finish the level
Lastly and least importantly the art could have been better with just a tiny bit of work. Maybe switch out the skybox, add some fog, and post processing effects!
Overall I think its a good game I like the main mechanic and idea I just wish it was used more!
P.S. last thing I forgot when writing this is that I love the music but I would of liked some more sound effects when jumping, running, etc.
Thank you so much for playing and giving such detailed, thoughtful feedback. It really means a lot to me.
The movement was inspired by the hammer bro from mario odyssey, and in that game it didn't take me long to understand that I could jump while doing a "hop." I was hoping people would feel the same way about my frog's movement, but I guess not. I'd like to know why, but in the end, I could've just fixed it by mentioning it by the controls.
I think all of your criticisms are insightful and on-point, especially the bit about my "reality" mechanic. I would've liked to flesh it out more to give the player more variety in tackling levels. I had an idea to make a level with NPCs that try to follow you and attack you, and have some mechanic around that as well, but I didn't have time.
Thanks again for playing and for your super helpful feedback!
I just played it great game!, very hard to get but satisfying nonetheless. I love that frog dance haha
Thanks for playing and giving feedback! Glad you like the dance lol
I liked the idea of changing the reality, music was cool too but controls were hard, I couldn't finish it.
Thanks for playing and giving feedback.
One of my favorite games so far. I loved the music and the story was amazing. It took a bit of playing to figure out the jump mechanic (you can jump after leaping with the wasd keys) but once I figured it out the game was quite enjoyable. In the future I would love to see a better skybox to make the design a lil' cleaner. Good job!
Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm really happy you enjoyed it and managed to complete it.
Nice little game. The premise is interesting as the theme. But the controls are a bit hard. Good job!
Thank you!

the game is sooo nice!!! love the alter reality mechanic, it really caught my eye. but as others say, the movement was bit too slippy, i meant on moving while jumping, although, that's a small fixing, the game is nice. 10 on 10 no cap
Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the mechanics, and I agree that I'll put more polish on my next 3D game's controls. Platformers aren't usually my thing anyways, but I know that bad controls can make a good game hard to play.
sooooo tru XD
I love the concept! The music is super nice and the froggy is lovely! I just think the controls were super slippery and I couldn't get pass the third level :') But besides that, great work! ^^
Thanks for playing! I understand your frustration, the level could've used a bit more forethought. I was thinking I should make it challenging since there are only 3, but it could've at least used a checkpoint.
Good mechanics but i think the song is probably copyrighted xD
Thanks for your comment! I don't think it is because I got a license for it here, so I'd imagine the vocals are from a producer pack or something.
This game is sooo polished! Thanks for making such an interesting game (it kinda reminds me of ... "Baba is You", just kinda)
It's funny you say that, I was also thinking of Baba is You when I came up with the idea! I also love that you say it's polished. I know the controller needs work to be more precise, but I think it's decent overall. Thanks so much for playing and commenting!
really you were thinking of Baba is You ! Haha quite a coincidence.
well it's way more polished than many other games I have scene sooooooooooo .... POLISHED!!!!!
This game was really calming, there were some difficult parts but I got through them and finished the game. Good work!
Thanks for playing and commenting! I'm glad you finished it despite the challenge.
The music is an absolute vibe and I love the froggy theme! The switching between game rule sets is very interesting and yea, nice game.
But I didn't finish it. The platforming got too finnicky in the third level and I just couldn't get onto the second pink platform more than once and then I slipped right off. idk if I just missed something but yea, it seems like there was no hope for the froggies after all :(
The character controls just a bit too slippery and unpredictably for my taste, and gauging if you can make a jump is difficult. But that's a problem I have with 3d platformers in general lmao
But those are minor frustrations that let me to quit the game ultimately, but the other 80% of the time I had a blast playing!
Edit: Sorry for the like 5 identical comments, my internet died aaaa
Thanks so much for playing and giving feedback. Sorry for your frustration with the controls - I agree that the controller wasn't polished enough. I tried to introduce challenge with the irregular movement type (hopping around) but didn't quite make it as balanced as it should be before the jam ended. I know which platform you're talking about, that one could be reached by doing a small hop off the first platform and a regular jump onto the second one. I don't know if I made it obvious enough in my very brief tutorial section that you could time jumps this way.
Despite that, I'm glad you had fun with it overall and that you liked the silly romantic vibe.
I loved your game! <3
I loved the beginning screen where the frogs were vibing.
I loved the animations, the song, the idea, the fact that I was playing as a frog! and I especially loved the ending very much! it was worth all the deaths in the third level and not quitting. That being said, even though I liked the song, it being played over and over as I'm dying in the third level was kind of irritating. but I did like it when sometimes I just stop, stand still, and jam with the frog vibing to the song :D
Overall, amazing game, and an even better ending.
HERE WE ARE, ONCE AGAIN!!!
Thanks so much for this awesome comment. The looping of the song was something that I would have liked to do better, I at least could've looped it in a more coherent section instead of looping the entire thing. Still, I'm really glad you enjoyed it so much.
I did not know what to expect when launching the game, but it definitely made my day ! Really fun moving mechanics and good use of the platformer genre. Using the button to switch between Yes and no is a great idea, especially with the end...
Hope to see more in the future ! Congratulations !
Thanks so much for playing and commenting! I'm glad you had fun with my weird game. I thought your game was hilarious too and I also rated it.
