How does you game fit the theme?
The game is a puzzle platformer that needs the two playable characters Jane and John to necessarily work together to unblock each other and proceed through the puzzles. They cannot do this alone!
The name "I, my, mine" is a play on the self-centred perspective and the fact that Jane and John find themselves trapped in a mine. As the game progresses, the two characters find that the solution to their predicament is setting aside their own limited perspective and helping the each other move up.
We are a two-people team who found ourselves leaning on each other as we made this game and looking at the Brackeys community for support from fellow gamers (like you!)... at a meta level, we're not alone!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes we did! All the code, art and music were made in house by us.
We have borrowed sound effects from Game Sound Solutions, and fonts and icons from Google fonts.

Interesting concept! Its a nice twist on the "Fireboy and Watergirl" style game here :) The pixel art is great, too! Although, i found the player speed to be way too high; I couldnt make most of the jumps. Otherwise, you guys did a very good job on this! :D
Simple but well-made game. It's intuitive and feels really polished considering the time span.
awesome game ! cool art and nice smooth controls and physics for this puzzle platformer. The mechanic is easy to understand, and the gameplay is immersive! overall I enjoyed playing, Congratulations! keep it up!
the level design is great! would tone down the jumping and gravity a little :)
Really nice using of theme and great gameplay! Actually, I am more focused on UI, looking simply nice.
Wow! Smart interpatation of the theme!
A well-designed platformer with pleasant art and ost (the lever sound kinda slaps). It wasn't too challenging, I got 10 death by the end, and most of them were due to me bumping into the middle spiky wall (for some reason it was hard for me to stop movement at just the right time). Oh, and the name is actually great. Well done!
This is quite the well designed game, music was good and the take on the two-character trope was handled in a way I can say I haven't seen before. I can tell that the pixel art handled with care - especially because of how intricate the shading is! This is definitely a cute experience.
Funny little platformer! The graphics were very nice and the different mechanics were easy to understand.
I found the movement a bit too hectic, sometimes it was hard to control where to stop a jump. They accelerate real fast. But it wasn't much of a problem. I noticed I had to stop holding a movement when I changed to the other character, it wouldn't change them and already start sending the input. But that may just be nitpicking.
I liked the music, though it could have a longer loop, felt a bit repetitive even with a short playtime. The sounds were good and fitting, but the jumping sound could perhaps be toned a bit down.
The menu is worth noting, very beautiful presentation. The level design is also impressive for such a short period. Congratulations!
I think you did an amazing job with the level design. Definitely got a talent right there for building interesting puzzles. My only gripe is that the player moves a bit too fast for my liking, although I would say that at it was still possible to control the jumps so ultimately it didn't matter too much!
Beautiful game design and pixel art. That's so sweet that you and your wife made it! My only complaint is that the movement speed is just a little too fast. Maybe reduce that a bit? I also used pixel art for my game.
If you don't mind, could you play and review it? I could really use some constructive criticism.

Awwww, I reunited to two lovers <3
You warned that's it's difficult game but I've seen way worse, especially in jam games where tweaking the difficulty is super hard and time is limited.
The only "complaint" I can make regarding the difficulty is the movement speed, these guys are SO FAST! They must be dying to reunite! :D
The art is very beautiful, definitely the highlight of this game! :)
Congrats, you made a cool game!
very interesting take on the 2 players 1 level idea, ive never really seen anyone split the screen that way, it makes for a very interesting experience, it also looks great!
Thanks a lot for your very kind words, and so glad you enjoyed our game!
Cute puzzle platformer. The various mechanics were fun, the pacing was good, and the art was really cute. Some of the later parts were just the right challenge level, taking 2-3 tries to figure out what to do. Satisfying to get it right! I think the controls could have used a little bit of adjusting, but nothing that prevented me from enjoying the game.
You're too kind! We're so happy you enjoyed our game... Thank you for playing and taking the time to share your thoughts!
Really nice work! Movement was a little frustrating in areas, especially having both move back after one died meaning I had to replay both halves for a failure on either...
All in all really enjoyed the concept!
Thanks for playing our game!
Fun and cute game. The characters physics did feel a little bit off to me tho.
Good job nonetheless :D
Thanks a lot!
Fun game. I like that there's lot of variation of mechanics! I especially liked the one where the platform goes to the other side once you've stepped on it.
Only problems I had with it was the the controls weren't all that great (high top speed, relatively slow acceleration and instant deceleration made it sometimes difficult to control). And I wish it had gamepad support, but overall, great work!
All good suggestions! Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback, it'll help us work on the game further :))
good game design and fun ideas, I liked the art. good job!
Thank you so much for your very kind words!
Oh, it’s almost my game!))) Excellent and polished!
