Each day's end is a new beginning. Your goal is to advance from age to age, but the planet goes back to Prehistory every morning.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code from sctrach. The art is made by @QueenDragon.
Most sound effects are custom-made, some are purchased and some are free from Pixabay.com.

I really liked the art and theme. This was one of the most fun games I have played so far this jam :)
I think it needs some balancing to be less punishing if you mess up.

I enjoyed playing this game! Would be nice if you can: replace spots or still be able to plant tree or build stuff after passing the age. Very cool concept overall, high rating!

I think that having it work in this way requires the player to really think it all through before advancing or placing something. You need to make sure you have all the old buildings you will need and that you'll have enough spots to build in the coming ages. Adds on to the strategy in my opinion.

I really like the interpretation of the theme! The graphics are great and the sound is nice. Gathering materials and advancing the age is really fun, but I do wish there was the ability to place buildings from older ages because I pretty much just used only one building type per day. But overall, an excellent entry!
Thanks! I think only allowing the newest-age buildings adds a bit more to the strategy aspect of the game. You have to make sure you're all set with an age before you advance to the next one. It would be a lot less challenging if you could just place a few castles in the last age when you realize you're out of iron.

I spent a suprising amount of time lost in this game and didnt feel bored once, its the kind of grindy style I love
On top of that the art is amazing, the style feels so fresh and unique

I really like this game! I probably shouldn't admit to this but I've just played through 40 days and didn't get bored or lose interest in it at all! It was quite frustrating on a couple of occasions though when I saved up for about a week, then when I go to put down all the rockets I was just short of getting the third one down. But the mechanics are great! Maybe the sound for the wood is a bit loud, but other than that this game is really really solid. Love the art, the gameplay and the concept, well done!
