I like it ! Graphics is so smooth and nice ! I like that game is simple! Good job!

Wow, to have made this game with the Canvas Api is quite a feat! And the concept is quite cute, I have adored abducting cows! Congratulations!

Wow. Great epic game! Loved the simple art style and the simple-ass gameplay. Great work on the game and I found stealing some moos real fun! I suck at the game so the highest I got after 2 rounds was 10... Kudos to you for making it work so damn good and flawlessly without an engine!

Without an engine goes crazy.

This was fun! My max was 25 moos haha

Really fun game, and honestly, I myself am always impressed when people do stuff witouth even an engine per say, let alone something witouth a library. (Altought me pretty dum dum, me don't really know the difference between engine and library 100%). and the visuals are also pretty good considreing they're all rendered up.

It's still super simple tho, so I don't have much to say about it sadly. Only thing I would mention is that, as someone else already pointed out, it lacks some difficulty curves, so it really stays pretty monotonous to play for too long. I kinda decided to spice things up by myself by doing tricks like zigzagging between bullets and try squeezing myself on the tinier bullet gaps whenever I could, but I still took very long to die even by playing like this, Altought thanks to that I can say that the ship controls super smoothly and I also had a lot more fun playing while doing shenanigans, so I guess that will be some extra points for it x)

It's a fun game, I love the simple story behind it. Also, great result for a frameless and spriteless game, I don't know if people will se that as part of the theme but I do and it's amazing you did this so well in under 10 days

Thanks for the nice comment. It's much harder to make something feel smooth and polished when there is no framework. So it's a nice challenge.

Very fun game! Had a good time with it, good art sytle, good music and simpleness? made the game very fun!

I think you win the award of funniest game title of the jam !

Simple concept and gameplay, implemented pretty well ! The only thing it lacks in my opinion is a way to make difficulty ramp up over time, currently it felt like I could go forever until I made mistakes. But for a game jam, it's better that way than having a game that is too hard.

Well done !

Thanks, yea I kept it simple for that reason. I didn’t have time to properly balance it.

Probably my favorite so far, something about the graphics, music and how simple the game is makes it really relaxing to play, don't really know how to describe it. Cool game.

Game design wise I feel limiting the player's movement to only left and right would have been more interesting a challenge; this way you're forced to drop the cow if you don't time your abduction properly. I played the game at first like this before realizing I could go up and down which made things a little too easy. Some more enemy types or projectile variations would have been cool.

For a game made in 10 days with only the canvas API it was pretty good. The audio was lacking but the cute visuals made up for it.

Overall, it was a pretty neat experience. Simple and short but enjoyable.

Pretty fun and chill game, not too hard and everything looks and feels nice enough, One thing I would add is a harder mode of some sorts, (faster fire rate, more humans, etc), other than that this game's pretty good!

I liked how everything worked together, the ufo being faster than the annoying shooters, the shooters being faster then the cows, the abduction being faster when closer to the ground.

My highest score:

That's an impressive score :D

Love the style and the simple gameplay, I just wish it got harder over time.

Very good game, the art style is simple and fits really well. The music is nice and also works well. once you get the hang of it the game is pretty easy, but overall great game.

The art style in this is one of my favorite, the music works really well too. The movement feels super fast so it was hard to control where i was going though :D

I loved this! You had me at the title :D

Very cool to see something made under a technical limitation that ended up looking really nice with the scanlines and general retro style.

Very cute little game! I love the super simple art-style; the parallax stars really give it that extra polished look. I would love to see new mechanics or enemies added as time goes on. But as it is, this was a lot of fun!

I stopped when reaching 50. The game works, is fun and I like the technical limitation regarding gfx, especially since the game looks nice and clean.

I feel like the game would benefit from speeding up (you as everything else) as you get cows since it's just a small infinite loop.

Nice work, thanks for sharing.

Fun and addictive game! I cannot rate it, since I’m not a participant myself, but I thought I’d leave a comment. I wish I could play in fullscreen. Using the arrow keys are making the whole page scroll, not only moving the UFO in the game. If I use “wasd”, then the page doesn’t scroll, so it’s OK.

I think the look and feel is cohesive, retro and cool. I like the CRT effect and the parallax stars. I personally think the stars could move even when the UFO doesn’t move, but I think this choice was deliberate. It works well either way. I also like the screen shake and effects when being hit by the bullets.

It’s also a good contrast between bullets and environment, making it easy to navigate and evade the bullet hell.

I’m not sure how fast the difficulty increases, because I only saved 5 cows, but I hope it gets more and more difficult each level. Good job on this entry.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not sure why you are getting the scroll happening when using the arrow keys. If I click play and then up and down arrow, it moves the UFO only, no scroll. I'll have to test that a bit more to find out why.

Glad you found it fun.
