I love this game! Simple idea, brilliantly executed. The visuals and the sound go so well together, I could play this for ages (and will, after I looked at some other games).
I wish there was just a tiny bit more time after the dash to not get hit because often times I found myself getting hit even though the character clearly wasn't anywhere near a bullet. Also, it's a little frustrating that bullets can be inside of the goal as I died a few times just walking into it.
But wow, this is such a nice game. Good job!
What can I say except this is GREAT and super challenging.. well done! -kale
Great work! I enjoyed the game a lot and played it for a while. I liked the variety of patterns and the progression / failure system, as well as the general style and music. The only thing which I didn't like was the rooms with the red ball enemies (e.g. the first one) where I found it hard to judge where the bullets were.
I like everything about this game. Punishing (in a good way) and really need to get the hang of the patterns.
A Clean and challenging game indeed very solid entry. The music was fire! I like it a lot
it's very hard, but i had a lot of fun playing this. I just wanted i could keep playing the same stage i died xD ... congrats :)
A ton of fun, really nice challenge too. Nice visuals, great death system that keeps you going and creates natural "soft checkpoints", some very fun patterns that remind me of Furi's best moments. The big gripes are the controls (there seems to be a good bit of input lag though that might be my browser, diagonals aren't normalized and the dash is lacking just a couple of extra comfort iframes) and floor 5 (and to a lesser extent 8) which are too heavy on randomization and can block off your escape for ages. Would play an extended version.
Very nice, clean aesthetic to the game! Definitely one of the more challenging games; the lack of save points with something on this level is a little tough, but overall the patterns and the design of everything was done really well. Good job!
Man, this game is as good as it is hard! Really liked it, even if i didn't reach level 4
Great aesthetic, and interesting use of theme. Pretty tough though!
The game is really cool and the visuals are great but going back to the beginning is a bit annoying especially having to repeat the same first level over and over gets annoying after a little.
one of the best games for me so far the only problem is the player movement it was not normalized meaning if you move diagonally the move speed will double because your moving two direction at one's
I did consider it. The dashing is normalized, but I wanted to emulate a typical SHMUP, so I thought having a consistent movement speed was more important. It may not have been the optimal choice.
i like the mechanic of going back 1 level on death. tricky game that looks & sounds good
It's pretty frustrating that you can't dodge while standing still, if you're in the middle of switching directions before hitting your dodge button you just kinda stand still, I understand why that's the case, but it makes it feel inconsistent.
Thank you for the feedback. In the future I will make sure to dash in the direction last faced.
If you get the chance, let me know! I'd love to give it another try :)
Amazing art and sound direction and very polished controls. I wish youโd just progress after 10 seconds pass because 60% of the time I died just trying to reach the teleporter
Loved, but the first stage its FREAKING HARDCORE! Hehe xd good luck <3
