This is actually fun for a jam game but there are a few problems that i noticed like when you move diagonally you have twice the speed, so try to Normalize the vector, also it got really frustrating because i would die right after i reply to the cat head and the i need to play it form the beginning so it would be nice to have a lot of check-points for a noob like me.

Cool game! I was a bit confused at first by the dialogue controls (I was leaving the screen to the left/right which made me leave the stage and then I had to repeat it all over again), but once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed it. I liked how you blended the story and dialogues with the battles, I think it has a lot of personality.

Battles also felt good, it was really fun chasing after the blue bullets, and having the score as some sort of currency encourages taking risks. Iโ€™d only suggest having different feedback for when you get hit and when you exit the screen, sometimes I wasnโ€™t sure what happened because the battle was suddenly over. Music wasnโ€™t bad but it got a bit repetitive after a short while.

Overall an enjoyable experience, good job!

You made a lot of unique and cool patterns in this game! For me the game was really difficult, I feel like for every encounter I experienced at first the patterns are challenging but ok and then the signature move is super hard and unpredictable. Still working on finishing the game but I think it's gonna take a while to master it. I really like story-driven game so it keeps me motivated even though I failed a lot. I must say that for me the music is a bit too loud and bombastic for me but maybe it's just me

this game is so unique and the music is very nice!

Easily one of my favorites out of the jam for how uncanny and weird it is :3 Although, I was a little annoyed that touching the white circle exits the battle, I kept hitting it by accident and there's no real difference between exiting and getting hit anyways. Other than that, weird and yet fun, and boy is that music an ear worm.

This game is so weird and uncanny in a good way. I couldn't get too far because its too difficult for me - but those little bits of story intrigue me. That overworld thing is really creative. The Artstyle is lovely but weird in a good way and the game is moody as hell. I like the sound being as pixely as the art style - I (personally) would love an easier mode thoughso I can see where the story is going.

Also without you I wouldn't have known about this jam - so thanks for that!

Cute game, I like the art. I couldn't get past the first level ha ha

I really like the art, but I didn't get past the first level ๐Ÿ˜… It's pretty hard and I don't like that it takes so long before I get to the hard part again, so just gave up after two tries. It's a cool entry but it would be really cool if you build up the tension much quicker. also, I wouldn't draw the score right next to the player, just makes it harder to see the bullets

the game works fairly well - I love the idea of an rpg bullet hell. I think the core concept is excellent and you could do an awful lot with it!

That said, the audio is really harsh, the UI needs a lot more thought - it's often difficult to read and feels cramped even though there's a ton of empty space. The difficulty curve is a nightmare, but I'm sure you're already aware of that ;) hitboxes are WAY too big, pixel-perfect collision just doesn't work for bullet hell games (I think that's also where the performance issues a couple of people mentioned come in).

It needs a lot of polish and refinement, but for a jam game there's an awful lot of content - so congrats on that! I didn't play the vast majority of it because it was too difficult, but I can see there's a lot there :) I think a broad summary would be: awesome concept, needed more time spent on polish, less time on content.

I really like the retro feel. This makes me want to try my hand at TIC-80! I will say that it is a very steep difficulty curve.

Very hard but also very fun. Music was a little too much for me though. The sprites are really cute and done well.

This game has A TON of content. Music is.. Very harsh, but I love the idea of an adventure game with bullethell encounters. It's too bad I'm horrible at videogames and couldn't get very far T_T

Really really liked this! Loved the little prerequisites to advance and the bullet patterns were great! It was really tough though and starting a fight all the way from the beginning was kind of a drag.  And the music got repetitive. But this was a blast! I hope to see it develop more! :)

I really like the boss sprites :) I have to admit that it was also a bit too difficult for me, though. I've beaten the cat and the coyote. The thing that knew a butterfly once killed me ;)

welp, this is one way to tell me that I'm not good at bullet hells :P

I like the blue bullets giving score though and the art. Not sure if there is more to it than that, couldn't even get close to beat the first enemy. Can't even reliably get to the part where it asks if you understand it.

I think the instrument choice for the music is not good, it's very annoying

And it's too hard

The blue-bullet-giving-you-score thing is quite interesting, though

Really nice, simple but appealing game, the cat is really cute. It's just a bummer that I suck so much that can't even pass the first boss ;-;
