Love the characters! They're simple but cute, though I feel like there could be more in the way of interaction with the SFX and the gameplay, since it's a lot of the same noises right now, but that's definitely a later problem. The gameplay is simple in a way that works well but could definitely use some kind of context to better explain what it is we're doing as the player.

The characters are cute and I think the concept seems well scoped to be implemented in a short amount of time. I hope you make a great game

This game is quite interesting. Cute art and sound effects. I don't know if were just me or not but whenever I moved the player, the character seems to be shaky (?). Other than that, I am looking forward to play this game in the future.

Solid game play so far in the prototype maybe lower the volume or let the player as that was really loud but otherwise i think yall are coming along really nicely!

I thought your concept was pretty creative & I found the game quite charming & cute! I think you guys should assess going forward how you can reflect more of the research & meaning within the gameplay because I was also very confused as to why I was just going around shaving heads before reading your Game Documents. I think you guys could also push the art style & vary your npcs so the character designs are more memorable.

Hi, I like the 2D art style. But I m not sure I understand the Gameplay and concept? But still looking foward to see the Final Gameplay!

The art style is very cute and the interactions with the different little npc's give them a lot of character even if they're not the same. I would appreciate a little bit more difference between the people who's hair you are cutting and the other types of characters.

I feel like the loop could use more challenge as well as something a bit more compelling to push the player to cut these characters hair, like a story reason or some kind of game play incentive besides completion

I like the concept of the game, I think some initial info on what the task means would be helpful!

Any other hairstyles and types yall can include? With natural or black/curly 4C hair types? Also, Ive seen hair drives for wigs and medical patients. Could we get a why for why hair would be need, and how, like more of a play to set this stage? Art style is very cute though.

Really like the game and the aesthetic but it needs work for context because I don't know why I am collecting hair without the context of the articles you guys posted.

Nice art style!  It's a quirky concept, but I didn't really understand why the interact key was sometimes doing nothing and other times doing the shave, need some kind of feedback/explanation.

Art style is fun but I need some more explanation of the hair and repair mechanics. I enjoy the social aspect and would love to see it connect more with the jam's themes

I really like the interface style in this. I think the core interactions of the game - figuring out how to manage the motivations and rapport involved in your cause, and going step by step - do even more for the message and novelty of it than the hair mat concept does. It's really pick-up-and-play, but effective as a demonstration of social phenomena the same way a lot of Nickey Case stuff is.

Looks like this might be interesting, too early to say. Unless I'm missing something, all that can be done in this prototype is get one leak fixed. I'd suggest not using wasd+e controls, as the right hand is free, rather something like arrows+space. Great style of characters, looking forward to see what the game will be like.
