Very polished experience, especially for a game you submitted to (holy hell) 4 different jams. The art, sound and overall atmosphere is insanely well-done, and the gameplay is very appealing, especially the scissor mechanic. For a post-jam version, I would tweak the control scheme — click to move can work, but since the gameplay is so fast-paced, WASD (or at least allowing the player to hold the mouse button to move) would feel more natural.

The game has a really nice art and audio, helping very much with the atmosphere.

I think it has a great potential for a proper game with level progression fighting minions and final boss fight at the end. Still leaving the choose which level to deal with option.

Two things that could have been done to make the game really stand out, the first one, easier to do, is to give the player the option to familiarize with movement and attack during the level selection. The second one is to have custom controls, but this is something that definitely comes outside a game jam.

I really struggle with the selection of the control used. I would have preferred to have WASD or arrow keys to move, attack with left button and recall with right button. Dash could have been spacebar or rolling the mouse wheel. I am sure I would have been able to enjoy the game more instead of being beated all around by every boss! :-D

Great game and high potential for a complete game.

What I will not do at all instead, is to use AI for text. If you are worried about the language, ask others, definitely you can get great result with it.

Congratulations! Looking forward to see a complete version o this game :-)

I liked the introduction very much, especially how you can make the text move down faster, that is a nice touch. Choosing which boss to fight is cool too. I wish I was better at this game, the attacks, movement, everything, just looks incredible. A really good game.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. I'm also one of those who wants to skip the intros so yeah, I just have to add it there too.

Absolutely adore the look of this game.  You do a great job creating atmosphere (even the opening scroll).   I wish I was better at this type of of game, I got my but kicked.  Still, it was very impressive.

Thank you! no need to be better at this game man, just love that you took time to play and review it, 😎🔥💪

Your art style is absolutely stunning and it perfectly captures the game's atmosphere. I love the concept of choosing which boss to fight next and each one is very different. I wasn't able to defeat any of the bosses but they are all really fun battles and the player's movement and attacks feel really good

Thank you, I really love the compliments, no worries for not defeating the boss, they are meant to be in the "Boss Rush Jam" players, I just love that you took the time to play and review my game, much love man 😭🫡

Thank You😭💪
glad you got over with the controls, yes the free open boss choice was on purpose there's a jam I joined had a theme "Tough Choice"
so I made the choice for the player to pick their first boss fight.

I love the pixel art—that alone sold me on this game. I like that you added a bunch of bosses with cool attacks; I managed to defeat one, but I glitched another, and the rest were too tough for my skill level!

Thank you!, I really touched you liking my art 🥲
yes I'm aware that there is a glitch when loading in the boss, tho I don't really know how it occurs.
I'm glad that the boss are tough, as they meant to be.

Love the atmoshpere ! Nice grim art and tone. I'm terrible at these skill-based types of games however.

Thank you!, it was suppose to be medieval dark fantasy, but thanks nonetheless, no worries man I wasn't expecting this to be easy cause I joined a Boss Rush Jam too. so I'm glad it's not easy to defeat to.
