I liked the fantastic tone of this game, but I didn't understand what I had to do when I defeated the first two enemies.

The art and music are very good, congratulations and also for creating this game within 10 days!

If game expect to be repetitive, it's critical to be able skip cutscene. I get most of mechanics and overall mood is epic. well done!

The others have already written anything I could write. I'm too like others bad at this type of games, but I can see that it's nicely set.

You can use the same mechanics for a future game if you want to expand and make it a proper commercial game.

Well done! :-)

Love the look of it - great pixel characters.  Intriguing opening (would be nice to be able to click past it after the first time).  Unfortunately, I was terrible at the game, but that's just me.   Hope you get a chance to expand it after the jam.

This has great potential, I love the idea of discovering new stuff with each run! As others pointed out, since it’s a quick loop focused game, it should be quicker/easier to start a new run. Hope you keep working on it post jam!

Congrats on your entry! I like the vibe. Sound works well. A small design tip: make some backgrounds for your intro texts so they have a place to be and it also makes them easier to read. And it has been said below as well, but I really mis the skip for the intro. The intro is nice, but it would be better if you could skip it. Gets repetitive fast and gives frustration, instead of what you want: replayability. I suck at skill based games, so I would like a bit more hand-holding. But we are guilty of a lack of teaching as well. It's hard to finish a game for a jam, so last minute polish like teaching the player is even harder to implement. Plus, it's a personal thing. Some like hand-holding, others hate it.

Great game! And thanks for your amazing feedback :)

The art and sound is really good, especially liking the electricity sound but all works so well together. I also like the setting to the game and the dialogue along with it. The gameplay was a bit tricky for me but enjoyable nevertheless and I love the magic spells and the general direction the game is going

You’ve got the restart option at the wrong place/time—it really should be instant for battles. Overall, the sound design is solid, and the mechanics work well. The tips on avoiding your next death are a cool touch.

I liked the idea, the dialogues fit into the game, giving it a nice atmosphere, but i think that a skip button for the dialogues would've made it a lot more enjoiable, especially if the game's first mechanic is learning with the loop!

story wise it's captivating simple to follow, but damn the intro is so long. and I can't skip it? I have to abandoned it. nice entry all in all, try to add some skip ctrl next time.
