The idea of matching two different games is nice, however need to see a more complete version in order maybe to have a though choice. The normal minesweeper is more a calculation or logical choice instead of a "taking risk" dilemma, so that's why a more complete version might give more chances.

I noted some points that you might already be aware of, in case you have missed them:

- Screenshake option seems not working, maybe it's not implemented?
- I guess Audio option is missing too, I can't do anything clicking on "Audio".
- Be careful to disable underneath buttons when Option screen is open, I can click on "Credits" and the windows pops up above the Option window.
- Collisions for Gold and Chests should be larger, it's hard to select them on PC, I can imagine how it's risky to play the game on a small mobile screen.
- What's the point in attacking the Goblin? I did only one battle with 30HP and I died. Was the battle supposed to give more gold if you win?
- If you have time, having feedback to understand what's going on during the battle would be great.
- When the Goblin hits me, it gets a floating green. Shouldn't I have a red -5 flying above my character instead of the Goblin getting +5 on it?

Overall the idea is nice, but didn't see much implementation of the RPG/strategy game part. I'm not a fan of minesweeper, but having the fantasy part added to it might help in creating interest in players like me.

Nice start, keep going! :-)

Hi Biim,

We are debating internally, about the direction we want to follow in the game, and the decision is to have intact the traditional mechanics of the minesweeper. If a player touch the mine, its Game Over ;)

In the style of the concept we are developing, we like to add roguelike elements and other things. If you lost a game, some things will be saved for the future. Now the answers to your points:

- In the next update, the Screenshake will be repaired.
- In the next update, the audio have an on/off option included.
- We will check the bug with the options menu. Thanks for letting us know.
- The initial plan is, make this game first for PC to test and see the overall things. When we have a more refined and stable versión, we will re-evaluate making an optimized version for mobile. In any case we will make it easier for you to click on coins and the chest.
- Beating the goblins, will make you ready for more difficult boards and battles. With the gold, you can buy potions between battles.
- We will add more information in the battle mode. Added this to the roadmap.
- In this version, the goblin can heal and attack with the same 3rd skill. We are preparing updates for the combat system to improve the mechanics.
- With the deadline of the Jam, we didn't have time for more. We are planing for the future rpg elements, a rich storyline divided in chapters and more surprises

Thanks for your words! ;)

Sounds a good plan. Best of luck to make it a complete and successful game.
I'm sure there is a wide audience for mobile games, on PC you might find it hard to monetise, unless you use ads like in a similar fashion I would use for mobile too. Another option are game portals too.

I like the concept a lot and I’d love to try a more complete version with better performance. From my experience, the game will freeze after combat, am I missing something? Also, maybe due to the slow framerate, I felt like the treasure pickups should happen automatically, unless the time mechanic has some sort of payoff I’m not seeing. I hope you keep working on the game!

Developer

Hi Kryptopixel,
We are working now in outline the concept and kill more bugs. The plan with the treasure, is that it has several things inside, and a surprise factor what can come out. Thanks!

The first game that came to my mind involving tough decisions was mine sweeper but i never imagined how it could be better, there's definitely a sense of progression here, and the music fits perfectly with the visuals. Good job!

Developer

Hello Playflash,

We definitely want to add progression systems and classic things from Rpgs. We are looking forward to showing you the next version! :)

Great take on the Minesweeper concept—love the RPG elements and the battles. The area-reveal mechanic is really cool. That said, I’m missing a tougher choice beyond the first square; after that, it’s mostly straightforward logic.

Hi Resurrected,
We are planning more maps with increased difficulty, and make a better experience each fight. Adding special details, this could be more fun :D

I love minesweeper and your original take on it was very cool.  Especially clever to add the bad guys on the map and then have to make choices about whether to fight or not.  Impressed with how much you could build during the jam.  When you find more time, I would add a  tutorial mode for it all.  Very well done.

Hello Mess Mess,
In the original mechanic of minesweeper we have the mystery, and the Tough choice of where are the mines. With our touch, we want to add the mystery of which enemy will be the best to defeat. We added your suggestion to a tutorial in the Roadmap ;)

Never had passion for minesweeper. I like idea of gaining experience by opening map. Guess this concept can work well if it invent more stuff. Well done!

Hello Pathbarin,

Its one of our goals, reach people who like minesweeper less. Adding rpg elements can be interesting, and enjoyable. The plan is make regular updates with more content: new playable characters, more types of enemies, more maps, and our exclusive free mode! ;D

Graphics are ok but there are some mismatch in styles.

Music was ok but too repetitive.

Idea was innovative and theme was really great.

However game was pretty sluggish for me which really killed the overall experience.

thank you!
You're right, is a little slow in this version. Our intention is make it more enjoyable in the next update, without the pressure of the deadline.

The playable characters will have rpg elements, and unique gameplay strategies.
