Please share with us the connection your game has with the theme "Tough Choice"?
There is a mysterious fruit in the dungeon. Eating it will temporarily make you stronger, but it will also make you weak. Faced with more and more enemies, players need to consider whether to eat the fruit.

Did you use any third party assets like art or music? If so, which ones?

Just walking around and shooting monsters is quite satisfying, and the fruit mechanic has potential. In this current version, however, while eating fruits is definitely fun, it has a low impact on the outcome of each run. I was easily able to finish the game by mostly sitting in the middle of the stage, barely moving, and without eating any fruit. This is of course easily fixed by tweaking some numbers to increase monster spawn rate and overall difficulty. Also, it’d be great to not have to keep the mouse button pressed to shoot. There is a lot you can do with this prototype if you choose to keep working on it (and I hope that you do).

Nice use of the theme.  I see that your bullets have accuracy issues just like in my game. For me, Y axis seems to be greater offender.

And the bullets spawn from different points depending on where is character facing. Probably forgot to update origin points on all animations.

Congrats on finishing the game.

Nice little game and good use of the theme :-)

The movement feels slow at first, but after a few runs—and collecting those “fruids”—it really picks up. The fast empowered state is awesome, and the slow effect after it ends works well. Once you hit the three-minute mark, there’s a glitchy sound. It’d be great to add  an overview/score screen so players can share or snap a photo of their results.

Nice game. Solid entry. I liked the choice of when to eat the fruit.

Cheers. Good luck with the jam!

I liked this game a lot.  It was a tough choice, trying to decide when to eat the fruit.  Honestly, I was pretty bad at the game (barely got through the first minute), but I had fun trying.  Well done.

Quite interesting game where you kill certain creatures for time.

I haven't been able to reach the end of time and I don't know if there is a special ending or more levels. I'm sorry to say that I don't know where the issue of hard decision lies, I imagine it's knowing which enemy to shoot.

Congratulations on the game and the effort !
